New uniforms!

Really cool! Love that Nike always steps up for our Griz. I like all 4 versions but especially the throwbacks to when I was in college. Funny story... My wife came home with new Reebok sneakers for my then 8-yr old son and he takes one look at them and says "They're pretty cool but you need to take them back. I''m not wearing them." "Well what is wrong with them," she asks. And he says "MOM...Reebok makes Bobcat crap. I can't wear those. Get me some Nike's." Well she looks at me and says "This is all your fault. That's just ridiculous." And I'm like "Hey the kid is right. Get him some Nike's." I was so proud of him. He's 9 now and Mom knows what to buy him. He will be sitting with me for his third GRIZ game this weekend versus NDSU.

They're never too young to start hating on the cats. My 6 year old daughter already knows. It's all about raising them right!

A year ago my 5 year old grandson started telling me he liked the Bobcats. I thought he was just doing it because it got a rise out of me. I finally asked why in the world he liked the Bobcats and he said "Well nobody else likes 'em, so I guess I have to!" Thankfully this little faze didn't last long and he's a full-fledged Griz now.
 
I like the new uniforms but the close ups show that they don't have the newer materials that the FBS schools have, i.e. the sweat areas. The materials look like they're replica jerseys you buy in stores.

U of Texas is where we learned the wishbone offense. Those were exciting times for UM. I think the Stitt era will be the same.

I'm sure we decided to go the cheaper route.
