New Uniforms for 2013?

Players were wearing the current tops at the Great Griz Encounter. Not saying there won't be a special uni for app state but are we one hundred percent certain this is a full new uniform year?

Yes, there will be new uniforms for 2013. This is Haslam's response to the question on Ask the AD:

"Question: Are there plans for new football uniforms for the 2013 season?

Answer: Yes, the three-year cycle for uniforms calls for new ones in 2013 and we plan to make some additions for the upcoming season. As in the past, we will work with our partners at Nike to develop uniforms that are classy and exciting, but which also provide us with flexibility to mix and match. Stay tuned!"

As I recall, the team didn't unveil their old uniforms from 3 years ago until the first game. I remember thinking as they ran out of the tunnel that they all wet their pants in those ugly grayish pants!

Pretty sure the last three uniforms before this one have been unveiled at the Great Griz Encounter.

Not true. 2010 was at the first game.

Fact. I've said a couple times on here that in 2010 the players did not wear the new uniforms to the GGE.

Absolutely agree. If it were up to me we'd come out in silver helmets, maroon tops and silver pants every home game and only change to white tops and maroon pants on the road. I'm more of a bring your lunchpail and let the other team know there's an a@$ kicking coming.

I like the traditional unis like ND, Bama, etc. But recruits like to see the options so if it helps the cause.
