Ummmm.....aren't App State's colors black & gold or something? So wouldn't a black-out actually be like everybody wearing the opponent's colors?? Just sayin'.....
Also, as long as I'm chiming in......I'm not a fan of all black or all white when it comes to uni's. In fact, all white uni's make it look like they're wearing long underwear or something! Our colors are maroon & silver, so let's stick with those primary colors, with a little bit of white or black to accent things.

San Diego State/Texas Tech/Cincinnati Bengals have wore black unis that are dominant black home unis for years. Most traditional national power teams have had all white roads most of our lives. So I dont get this sentiment about single dominant base color for our uniforms.
I am for all the options and combo looks in our Maroon and Silver colors. Use Black & White as trim & accent.
Use all them in combination for the new unis but keep it within reason. Even I have become convinced that it does help with recruiting.

I hope these aren't the helmets the players are going to be wearing.. The facemask looks maroon and the Griz logo looks like Walmart maroon.

I'm nearly 100% certain those are the same helmets as past years. The flash created the effect of a lighter maroon on the Griz script.

The script is a little difficult to make out on the newer darker helmets. Maybe they lightened it up?

NEW Matte Maroon helmets (w/ Silver gives us two combos)
Helmet "Griz" Logo & Facemasks will be swapped out for a variety of looks (Pflu influence)
NEW Maroon Home Jerseys + an "alt" jersey (color unknown)
I am not sure if this is the "Camo-Themed Uni" for Military Appreciation night this year?
3/4 new pairs of pants (Assuming Silver; Maroon; White & Black)
This is from a very reliable non-player source within the program.
They would not confirm but they did not deny my comments when we spoke.

Really excited to see the Military Appreciation Unis!

I dont think they are doing anything that has not already been done over the past couple years.
