New Uniforms for 2013?

Sweet!

I hope we do something new, cool and revolutionary. Maybe get a nod on espn.com or something.

That would be great for recruiting, and anything that pisses off Grizmayor is a plus. :thumb:

From the sounds of it, Pat Williams and RE are trying to get the Griz to play with no pants.
 
I would like to see an update to the classic look & colors that we have become used to. Maybe find a way to use the bear claw like Oregon uses their Wings look.

Three (3) complete sets in All White w/ maroon & black trim for away gams; All Maroon for Home & intercahngable pants for road games; All Black Pro Combat for big home games with a set of silver pants to mix & match.

I like how Pflu was swapping out the logos & facemasks instead of the costly messure of multiple helmets to match with the multiple sets of uniforms.

App State needs to be a black out under the lights. Every fan is wearing black, and players come out in black pants, jerseys and a black helmet. Now that would be a night to remember!

I'd prefer a maroon out with that maroon helmet and maroon pants.

Your2012 uniforms looked like the player just finished his shift at Jiffy Lube. Ugly!!
I think the all green uniforms of Sac are also ugly.
Best uniform last year was MSU.

MSU's unis were by far the most boring in the conference....Webers were the gayest....
 
The standard home unis for the past two seasons have been the worst by far. The combination of grease rag pants with grey numbers on maroon were bad. Then add the black on the jersey and they became very bland and dull. They actually looked better on tv then they did live because you could see the color combinations. In person they were boring and looked more like a high school uniform.

I can live with some change and even black if they are done right. But stick with the colors and get rid of pewter and grease rag colors. Silver and maroon with white and black accents.
 
Hope we go all black, including helmets, with white trim around the numbers/letters. Fun watching y'all whine about a damn uni.

Sure is a lot of angst about uniforms. I have not disliked any of the uniforms we have had since I started as a freshman in 1987. Regardless of what they come out with, I hope they play like champions in them.

I thought the best uniform I saw last year in the big sky was actually Southern Utah.

Best helmet I saw all year was Cincinnati's helmet in whatever no name bowl they played in. Thought they popped off the TV screen.
 
As long as we are speculating, why do the numbers have to be outlined in white, say, instead of silver that possibly matches a silver helmet? That would work with black uni's. Then have the numbers on the maroon ones in silver with black outlining. Ohh and gold shoes! :D

Frankly, Iliked the way the old uni's looked particularly on television and when it was sunny out. The more I saw them the more I liked the versatility. That included the pewter helmets.
 
I just hope that they don't bring the old school colors back, anyone who seriously thinks burnt orange and yellow looks better than maroon and silver is living back in the 80's and 90's.
