So now I'm an absurd moron. I won't dispute that mainly because it's true. I was just venting because not too long ago I could stream Griz games on the computer and listen to the radio for free. Now I can't (or it's pretty rare when I can). That's all.

Interesting, because BM (Before Max Media) I had to go down to Dukes in Scottsdale to view the games, and they were usually in crappy non-HD, with shitty camera work. THIS year, having moved to Texas I was able to attend the App State game and have seen the NAU, PSU and UND games on TV in HD, with professional production and quality commentary.

Interesting, because since your moving to Texas and being able to attend the App State game and watch the NAU, PSU and UND games on TV in HD with professional production and quality commentary has nothing to do with my post. As I mentioned earlier, I don't have a TV. I live in a cabin in a fairly remote part of Montana. I have a good internet connection which, up until a couple years ago, allowed me to stream the Griz games pretty well. Additionally, I was always able to at least get the radio feed and listen to Mick and Gurns. Now, I pay a monthly fee to listen to M and G and get shitty streaming on BSTV (when available). It is what it is and I can live with it.

Well with that attitude it's probably a good thing you live in a cabin in a remote part of Montana. ;) Just don't go all "Ted Kaczynski" on us.

 Don't worry, I suck at math.

Whew! :o

Hell Snap, you can come over and watch it at my house. I might even have an old TV you can take with you. But if your cabin is anything like ours at Condon, you still won't be able to get reception without a dish, which is why we watch a lot of 3 Stooges, Abbott and Costello and Mystery Science Theater when we are there.

does this mean it is no longer on bs tv and/or gogriz.com? that for many it will be another fun-filled hours of listening to mick and gurns shoot the shit while a game is going on in the background? um is doing a great job at making the games less accessible, so i wouldn't be surprised.

Yep, this is getting ridiculous. I don't have cable or sat. TV. Hell, I don't even have a TV. I'm currently paying the fee on gogriz to listen to the radio for f***[*] sake (although I do happen to like Mick and Gurns). I wonder if Chris is being pressured by UM to sell the rights to the egriz game thread so they can charge a "small monthly fee" for that too.

Drove past Goodwill and Dumb Friends League the other day where their respective signs offered "TV's $4.99" and "Spayed Cats $3.00." You could have had an experienced B&W and a companion to watch the Griz on it for a stinkin' $8.00!... Darn, wish you'd posted earlier.

[edit]

Here in Denver we get Syracuse vs. NC State on Root Saturday at 5:00. Ugh.
I have dish in colorado. Try channel 450. It's one of the ALT channels.

Thanks for the info. I've got Comcast, I think I'll check out the higher channels and see what I can find.

Anyone got anything for optimum/charter. Still showing Syracuse.

The guide may not get updated. But that game will be preempted in the markets specified in the release.

For everyone who is wondering, yes, the game will be on Root Sports even though optimum or dish or whatever television package you have may not be showing the game on the TV guide channel.
