Went to the eye doctor for my biannual check up yesterday and he were making small talk and he asked me where I was from and where went to college and I said, Montana and his response, "Oh, you guys have great football teams.". I asked him where he was from and where he went to college and he said he was from South Carolina and went to school at App State. Needless to say, we had a great discussion about the 2009 semifinal game and Division IAA/FCS/FBS football. Just goes to show that Montana Griz football is known outside the borders of Montana.
When I interviewed for my current job (back in 2012) in Texas I had separate interviews with everyone on the executive team. The COO's first comment when I said I was from Montana was "hey, you guys play some great football up there!" I brought our Chief of Staff up for the Sac State game a couple years ago...I've got 3-4 other people here who want to go experience the stadium and game day. While I wouldn't say we are "well known", our brand extends beyond Montana's borders certainly, and FCS borders in reality.

None of these stories by y’all have been my experience in Alabama but that’s because I’m in Alabama. Even the nfl is garbage to the sec by Alabamian standards.

That must only be true in certain places in Texas or amongst certain groups because I've yet to find one person in my area who has any idea of Montana football. I have seen a few people wearing Griz gear, however when asked they always just say with a shrug that some distant relative or friend from Montana gave it to them.

Funny, I just had that happen two weeks ago traveling back from PV. I saw a person across from me waiting to board and he was wearing an NDSU shirt. So I decided to walk over and congratulate him on the recent championship while I was wearing a Griz shirt. He looked at me with a puzzled face and explained the shirt was sent to him from a friend. He had no idea NDSU had won or who the heck they had played. He was Canadian.
Go Griz!

Mom, not me. Like AZGrizFan I run across Griz fans when shopping at HEB for groceries or filling up my F-150 truck. Last week I came across a Bobcat fan - wearing a retired Navy shirt and a Bobcat cap. We had a chat since I'm a retired Army guy and wearing a Griz cap. Conversation lasted 20 minutes.

Have to agree ... just last week in HEB a guy comes up to me with a big Go Griz. Tells me what a great program we have and then tells me he took his son to a game in Missoula 5 years ago that was one of his best trips ever... Over the years I've taken multiple friends and work acquaintances to Missoula for games all of which said they had it on their bucket list...

That's funny. On the way back from PV earlier this year I saw some guy I didn't know in a QB club jacket, said Go Griz and he looked at me like I was a crazy person. Turns out it wasn't his, he had borrowed it from someone and forgotten to give it back. :ROFLMAO:

Also, I'm just really jealous if you got street tacos from the stands by that little pharmacia in the Romantic Zone. I think about those tacos almost daily.

We stayed in Bucerias for a couple of months and didn’t even make a trip over to PV, other than to use the Marina for a sailboat trip.
I agree, the street tacos are numerous, cheap, and tasty!

I've only gone down a couple of times, but the dream is to snowbird there for a couple of months in the winter. Bucerias is a cool town, and I loved a restaurant up there that has a deck facing the sunset. I've heard it gets hopping with live music and good times there too, but I've never stayed past dinner.

That part of the world definitely convinced me that I could live on street tacos.

Sukha Beach House maybe? Bucerias has a number of fantastic restaurants.

Those pictures look close, but not quite right. I just went through all the restaurants on the coast in Bucerias though, and none of their pictures online look right. I'll ask when I get home tonight, it was a recommendation from the future in-laws, if I remember right. I did not leave sober, though, so my memory may just be off.

Also, did we ever establish if CDA is, in fact, alive?

No. And I'm concerned for his welfare. It's very possible that he angered the Russian mafia while representing Ursa in a case involving one of his many mail-order brides.
