I never bought the excuse that losing some of our starting receivers was a cause when we still had Jones, Janssen, Haynes, Saylor and Van out on the field. The fact is, even with injuries, this team has been loaded at the offensive skill positions all season.
The offensive line improvement I do think has been a huge contributing factor to improved play and kudos to the O line coach and those young men for working to improve immensely over the course of the year. Here's hoping the offense continues its improving trend and style at EWU.
There is not one elite "speed demon" in that underlined group. Of course the loss of our top speedsters held back this offense. Jones and Haynes aren't too bad, but aren't as fast as Henderson, Naccarato or Walcott.
