New Lady Griz early commit?

I'm hearing a rumor about an early Lady Griz commitment (power forward) from Msla. Sentinel for 2012? Can anyone confirm?

Cannot confirm it, but most likely DJ Reinhardt who was Sentinel's leading scorer.

If so, cool. AA All-State as a junior. 5'8" < http://missoulian.com/image_493618c0-4c83-11e0-88e2-001cc4c002e0.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Part of the recruiting class that's bringing in a Molly Klinker (6'0" - Class B State Tournament MVP) out of Fairfield as well I believe, if not mistaken.

I wonder if signing sophomores to be (2012) is too soon for a LOI? Looks like they have a pretty good post/forward type player (6'1") up at Glacier hs Wolfpack by the name of Cassidy Hashley < http://www.ihigh.com/nwmta/article_62671.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
10.3 ppg and 6.8 rpg - Usually I don't scout out anyone less than a sophomore but this one kinda got my attention. Good family background as well; Doug Hashley played for MSU a while back, a pretty damn good player in his day. Be a recruiting coup I think, if the LG ever consider signing her sometime; if they can't find someone better, that is. Fairfield also has a sophomore to be in 6'2" Jill Barta that was a Second Team Class B State Tournament member. Too bad the LG didn't sign Kayle DeWit; she looks like she brings the total package and MSU got her instead, along with Jackie Elliott & Kallie Durham, oh well. Then they get Peyton Ferris out of Twin Bridges as well; MSU is going to have a tough team to beat in the next couple years, looks like.
I think the LG are going to regret not recruiting Danielle Muir out of Billings harder than they did. Might be as good as or even better than how Sara Tuomi became out of Billings Senior that played for Weber State a while back.

If she's a sophomore, she won't be "signing an LOI." Can't do that until November of your senior year.

Actually rumor on the street is that the Lady Griz have 3 commits for next year. Klinkler (Fairfield), Gilham (Bozeman), and Reinhardt (Sentinel)!

Once again, Mcat's info. is early and accurate. Thanks, M

What about Tinkle?

I briefly spoke to Elle and Jos when I was back home. Jos is happy at Stanford. Elle has a lot of interest, but did not expand on it. A few coaching friends of mine have told me, teams are interested in her due to her being a good athlete, but has to prove more as a basketball player. This season will be huge for her as to the level of the programs that go after her hard. Her name is out there, but she has to sell herself.

I have heard Tinkle has not committed anywhere as of yet, but is getting a lot of interest. Not quite the level of Jos but a few Mid major looks.

I think this summer is where she will need to make her mark if she wants to prove something to recruiters. In men's recruiting about 66% of the quality athletes sign in the November, but in the women's game it is much higher. I do not have any true insight into what the Tinkle family plans are but I would be very surprised if she did not commit/sign in the November signing period - making her senior season at Big Sky a mute point to recruiters.

She has to polish her skill level quite a bit on the offensive end from what I've seen. Her jumper is erratic and she relies primarily on her size and athletic ability to score. She is however, a tremendous rebounder and has the ability to be a very versatile defensive player at any level.
