Its in California. What do we know about this young man?? Whwere is Allan Hancock College??
Did we sign him...?
Its in California.
I know almost nothing about him outside of what is publicly available. He had 33 tackles and 3.5 sacks in six games played as a freshman. He isn't huge, 6'0" and 270, but he can move. He has games from his freshman year up on Hudl, though it is hard to judge anything because you don't know the level of competition. It looks like he got off blocks well. One thing I liked that will translate at any level is that he stays in plays even if they get a block on him, often keeping locked on the RB and shifting over to make a stop. He disengages well in those situations. Those plays show me that he doesn't quit on a play, and you can't really teach motor like that.
He seems to play a little mean and like getting a hit in on the QB. There were a couple I saw that were not dirty plays by any means, but he also didn't seem to let up at all when the ball left the QB's hands if he could get there without it being a penalty.

So many of these transfers have been young, too. That makes me feel so much better about this year and the near future of the team.I like his attitude and quickness. I'm hearing great things on the Carroll transfer Peck as well, I think were going to see a lot of improvement in the trenches this season![]()
I would keep him inside probably--a little short @ 6-0 to be playing DE and blocking, deflecting passes ( compare to Griz great and grad Hayden Harris @ 6-5 ) in my humble, armchair QB opinion !!!I think AZ is right, he may play strong side DE as has the quickness.
Short to play outside, light to play inside...Hmmm....I would keep him inside probably--a little short @ 6-0 to be playing DE and blocking, deflecting passes ( compare to Griz great and grad Hayden Harris @ 6-5 ) in my humble, armchair QB opinion !!!
I think if he puts on 5-10-15 lbs. of muscle in The Washington Champion's Center's weight room, he should be okay playing inside for us, AZ !!!Short to play outside, light to play inside...Hmmm....
