agree with azgrizfan on this one,,,if he has the same affinity for the ball on defense, he will be special....welcome to the griz family, josh.....

And hopefully better discipline. Pair him up with Schye and we should have the edges for the future. But who do we have in the succession plan for the middle; Kose can't stay healthy.

Don't forget Connor Strahm is going to be an outstanding LB too.

Another Idaho player that Montana is recruiting

I hear looking at him more as an athlete then QB.

Sounds like we (egizzers) want to play him everywhere but O-line! He's going to be very busy playing all these positions for us.

Played for a school, that is relatively new, and has had little football tradition. He was the big reason Mountainview was as successful as they were this year.

Watched him live once, no idea that he was being recruited by the UofM, and like him as a player. They used him just about every where offensively at times, and their defensive concept was a bit scattered, but Highland (Pocatello) High School will do that to you, so it was hard to find him on the field at times.

But he is athletic and has some definite upside. If he were playing for Capital, Rocky Mountain or Eagle, I would imagine he might have ended up at Idaho or the like. Just a hunch. Mountainview just hasn't been all that good before this year.

I too watched this quarterfinal game...my nephew is a starting CB; all they were talking about is stopping Buss...he also ran back kickoffs during the season. My impressions (only one game) is that he has tremendous upside. After a red shirt year and living in the weightroom he will see the field.

God, Idaho is pathetic. Is it true they play at FSU this week.......get out the adding maching could reach triple digets. Idaho should be a good marker for Appy State as they will end up being the Idaho of the East.
