Does anyone find it as amusing as I that the kitties will just have a M (a weird looking one at that) on their new helmets again this year? Are they trying to steal some of the GRIZ past success and publicity by hoping that maybe other schools will just think MSU is simply MONTANA? Feels that way to me.

You should be flattered that the state college wants to be The University of Montana. It's done whatever to possible to drop the "state" from its brand for some time. You know, even before MSU actually had a website, it went out and secured the domain name "montana.edu," which is how the school is still the found on the Internet 20 years later. Shortly afterward, George Dennison officially changed the name of UM to "The" University of Montana. Seemed a little silly at the time, but MSU just keeps trying to scrub the "state" off of its brand. That's what you call bobcat pride.

I've been on BCN for quite a while since I follow your basketball team pretty closely (or what's left of it). Not for jealousy purposes (obviously) but because I'm actually am kind of a fan of your BB team, when they aren't playing the Griz anyway.

Anyway, back to the topic of your obsession with the Griz. So basically your answer to my question about if you wanted to share anything about your obsession with the Griz was...
