New 2014 O-lineman

Like Bobby Hauck told me about these big recruits "if he can lose 100 pounds he will run 100 meters in 10 flat" ....Top speed? Three steps is a marathon for an O-lineman.

I think this guy could stick around an become a damn good player for us!
Man I miss Bobby's quotes

Kid definitely has some strength and some nastiness, which is welcome. Also appears to have the fundamentals down. Might never be one of those athletic and agile linemen, but could be a good interior guy that could move some people in the interior. Could be a good recruit after a year of conditioning and getting some more bend.

With Canada, Juice, Tre Favors and Nguyen in our RB stable all you need is a body on somebody and they're gone

Not that I totally disagree with you, but you got to move people so that backs can get through the line fast and make the cuts needed to evade the 2nd level guys. Great defenses close holes fast and just getting a body on a DT isn't going to move the chains on defenses that have LBs and safeties who fill it up. If a DL can stalemate guys at the line of attack, that makes things really difficult on the run game. Dominant running teams often have those linemen who can blow somebody off the ball and get to the 2nd level.

Part of what made Reynolds and Hilliard so effective is that they had some room to explode through the line and get to full speed in a hurry. When things are clustered up, it makes it a lot tougher.

Wow Sam thanks for your insight on this I had know idea. Dumb ass!!! We get some meat for the O-line and I complane, the kid is a beast !!!

I usually like Blitz' comments including this one. He wasn't even responding to a post of yours. Why do you have slam Blitz? No reason to be a dick to Blitz, in my view.

I want beefy lads with a streak of mongrel who will make their men think twice before they hit our boys. Welcome to the fold and I don't give a good god damn about your 100 time, if we need you to run that far we have run a terrible play. I want a lad who reckons his afternoons work is beating the holy hell out of the man across from him.

Well said, Saskatoon! You just might want to tone down the violent talk. They might not let you back into Canada after your return from the North Dakota game...

This has been on going. I'm from Saskatchewan which is the name of our province, but no where near Saskatoon. I'm from Regina, rhymes with fun. And the home of former Griz lineman Mike Stadnyk (Miller High school) . Being from Saskatoon for a Regina boy is like being from North Dakota to a Montana boy. Just sayin. LOL (okay well not that bad, but still)

Awesome late get. I wonder how he fell through the cracks? He and the OL from Oregon look to give the GRIZ a very solid OL combo for 4 to 5 years (depending on Redshirting or not).

If the video high-lites are any indication, I'd be very surprised if he remains on a 'walk-on' status for very much longer. ;)

He has very good hand work and is very thick in the lower body, he also has good foot movement. He has a mean streak in him. Me likey!

Looks nasty. I want him. Classroom smart too, meaning that he isn't likely to give the athletic department academic fits.
