NEVER

As the sting of the PSU loss fades I can reflect on a handful of other ugly games I've seen in Wa Griz. 2016 vs the cats, 2015 vs Weber and vs Cal Poly, hell all of 2012 (losses at home to MSU, SUU, and NAU), 2005 to CPSLO and EWU, 2003 vs NDSU, 2000 vs Hofstra.

It was a real ugly loss no doubt. Hopefully this can spark some rapid improvement in these guys.

And let's not lump Eastwood in with all the others who screwed up. 85 yds, 2 TDs, and NO turnovers!
I thought he played a good game and if he'd got the ball instead of Curran we might be having whole different discussion.

Wow, just wow. The team comes home from poly with an epic win and people begin talking playoffs. Then a week later they play horrible and people begin the "we will all be killed" conversation. Yes the turnovers, dropped passes, and off the mark passes were the death grip on Saturday. Hell I woke up today stubbed my toe, spilled my coffee, and the paper didn't come but that sure isn't an indication of how the rest of my life is going go. Good grief we had a bad day but its one game. Give them a chance to recover, work things out and see how it goes this weekend. By the way the offensive line didn't fumble the first snap. Nor did they fumble when we had the momentum in the 4th (Lee), or fumble giving them the go ahead drive. They didn't literally drop critical passes so get off their collective butts and let em grow week to week. Gosh sakes it was bad day! Get over it! I for one think we can contain the run, get off the field on 3rd down, and score 28 points. That's what its going to take to beat und.

Go Griz!!

I find it ironic that just as surely as we all assumed PSU would be a sure win, many are now assuming a bounce back win at ND.
why? it's a FAN board. i'm usually more suprised by people that pick "their" team to lose like they win a prize or something for being right.

we're homers. we should believe that our teams should be able to beat nearly anyone if we play a clean game. doesn't mean they always will...but who cares?

do you really not believe that the griz are capable of winning this game?

I just find it ironic. Yes, I believe and hope the Griz will win. But I’m not coming out with any surefire prediction (like I did at the pregame tailgate Saturday).

It’s a fan board. I made a comment.

if it makes you feel better i see a lot of your fans predicting a loss this weekend too because apparently your game is going to go exactly like the psu game went. ;)

I still think the ugliest game at Wagriz was 2016 against the Cats. Rival game, playoff's on the line, all the motivation in the world to win it. The Cats were one dimensional and the
Griz did nothing to stop it. PSU is a very close second, though.

The PSU kicker comes out and hits a career field goal with 4 seconds left to win the game. Their top receiver catches a pass on a comeback route that was reasonably well covered in order to give the kicker the chance at the end. It was an extremely ugly performance by the Griz no doubt, but kudos to PSU for making those plays with less than a minute left.

Frankly, I'm surprised the game was as close as it was. PSU should have been up 21 -0 at the half with how poorly the Griz played. The fact that we were in this game to begin with is amazing!

I think a loss is likely just because I am not sold that the Griz can win a road game against a solid opponent. It has nothing to do with the PSU shitshow.

OMG!! I have to agree with a Cat fan! It doesn't feel right. I have to go take a shower now!

 IMHO, well put and spot on. One game, good or bad, does not a program make.

*depends on the coach, at least for many on here.

Some good points but the Griz should be 6-0 at this point. Both losses were given away at the end and none of the wins were close. Should be 2-0 against good Mountain Valley teams. We’ll see what happens this week.

Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda. We're 4-2 and could be 5-2 with a win Saturday.

A 20 point win at CPSLO wasn't exactly "unsolid." They just kicked the crap out of SacSt in Sac.

Last years loss to the Scats. I usually watch in San Diego as I'm there for Thanksgiving so I go to McGregor's. Second year in a row of having to sit around with a bunch of loud obnoxious Scat fans is even worse than last Saturday - and last Saturday really stunk.

Even in down years Cal poly and UC Davis will play sac State tough, they both look at sac like a little brother or a jv squad.

Yep, Poly is not a very good team. A road win is a good win, but I don't see it as beating a solid team.

Who would we have to beat before you would say it is a good win? Bama? NDSU?
