Nevada Message Board

According to them, it's talking smack if the Griz believe they have a chance to knock them off. I don't call that talking smack...That's confidence.
 
Think I found what they are talking about when they say our players are talking smack:

"We're in the Big Sky and we get a 12 seed and get matched up with a team that is pretty equal to us. I think we've got a good chance of going in and getting a win."

Obviously an insufferable insult to them. No wonder they're pissed. One guy, referring to this exact quote by Strait, said he couldn't "recall ever seeing this much chest-pumping from a 12 seed."

See? "I think we've got a good chance" = "chest-pumping."

To clarify, I meant if the Griz players say something to the effect that they believe that they chance at winning, that's confidence.

Both teams should be feeling confident. Both won their conferences. Both had great seasons. Both have went to the tournament last year. In the end it doesn't matter what us fans think say or write we are not the ones playing. Best of luck tomorrow.
 
These are the highest seeds in school history for each school. Montana should feel very optimistic about their chances after having to play #1 Washington last year, and Nevada should consider this the easiest game they've had in the tournament thus far since it's the lowest seeded team they've played. In reality, history and seeding don't matter on the court, but in the minds of the players and fans, at least pregame, it does. 13 hours to game time!

Let's be serious here, if we are talking about wonderful places to live Montana (even Billings) wins out over anyplace in Nevada. That's not a knock on Nevada, it's a very nice desert, but MT is just so much nicer. I'm not just being a homer here, I always thought MT was just alright but then I went to other places - East Coast, West Coast, WY, CO, Florida, Nevada, and I realized that Montana rox, and I miss it being stuck here in Oregon. I pity Nevada, even if they win (like that's gonna happen ;) ) they still won't live in Montana, sad :( .

I have lived in W MT and now live in SE MT. I prefer it here. Clean air and "the sunshines damn near every day". You can keep your smog and high cost of living.

I know it was a jok, but you guys sure like to pick on Criswell. With that and the side-by-side picture of his program picture with Donald Trump, comparing their hair to each other.
 
Just back from my victory lurk through the Nevada board. It wasn't as gratifying as I had hoped. None of them appear to feel the least bit bad about the smack they threw down.
 
Hope you enjoyed it. But the smack talkers aren't worth the trouble. I'm just tickled the Griz won and will have another shot Saturday!
