Nevada gets ranked 25th. The Grizzlies need to be proud of them selves and carry on with it this year. They beat the 25th ranked team in the tourny. How outstanding is that.

It will mean nothing if they cant build off of it, and make another run...

He WAS a lottery pick until Strait made him look foolish. He ran off the court withour shaking anyone's hand like a rat scurrying into a gutter. Strait LITERALLY cost that guy millions. I love it!

Fazekee boy isn't going to the NBA for his defensive abilities. He's getting good looks becuase of his size and scoring ability. It's not a suprise Strait tore him up on offense and that shouldn't suprise any scouts either. To say that he had a bad game against us isn't true in my opinon. He had 24 points and 12 boards while Strait had 22 points and 5 boards.

Ok he out-rebounded and out-scored Strait, those are the only 2 you pointed out. FG Pct:Fazekas 10-23, Strait 9-16. FT:Fazekas 4-5, Strait 4-4. Fazekas kept shooting and shooting and shooting. 2 more points in 7 more attempts does NOT make him a good scorer. Fazekas 2 assists, Strait 7. 3-point attempts:Fazekas: 0-6! Choke city. He couldn't beat Strait inside and he knew it, so he started chucking 3's. Pathetic! That guy is a white Power Forward, one-dimensional cry-baby who has ZERO NBA future right now unless he improves greatly in several areas and I think even he knows it. I watched him the entire time (in person) and he got a bad dose of reality in that game and I loved every second of it. Strait flat-out schooled him, PERIOD!

He was chucking up 3s cause his team was losing. He was 10-17 from within the arc, pretty good. As big of a little bitch he may be, he had a pretty good game inside that day. Strait had a fantastic game, one of the most brilliant performances I have seen in a long time, but I don't think it's fair to compare the 2. It wasn't like it was a showdown, each of them were just making big time plays on offense. The Griz just had more guys step up than Nevada.
