Nero Fiddles While……..

Sport, myself, and thousands of other Griz fans will be vindicated after we accomplish the same results as last season......... pummeling a parade of weak pre-conference teams, giving all of us false hopes, then stumbling once again during the conference, again losing to the best team in the Big Sky (Bobcats), buying another first-round play-off game, then losing big again when we have to play a real NC contender.

Then, it's back to the 'we'll get-um next season" mantra from the ladies.

If you desire a Return To Dominance...... it will come with a new coaching staff. Shuffling the deck of current dinosaur coaches into new responsibilities ain't the answer. Hiring younger, more creative coaches who can actually identify with 18-21 year-olds is the key.

What would it take for you to call the year a success?

So turd belongs to a group of "fans" that are hoping for failure?

It is absolutely wild to me how many people on this board claim to be Griz fans, but trash the players and coaches and then hope for vindication. I'm not saying that's being a "bad fan," but its not even being a fan. It actually being "anti-Griz."

Yet when I talk to any Griz fans in real life, all you hear is "hoping for a great season, excited for it to start, Go Griz." He acts like people spend every day hating Bobby Hauck like he does. Its creepy. I honestly wonder sometimes if he goes and slow drives by Bobby's house while swearing.

With coaches that don't finish in 6th place in the conference, or ones that can develop the most important position on the field, or one's that don't try steal the 37 legacy for their kid.

Hauck didn’t want 37 for his kid. He and some coaches didn’t want it to go to who it did. Thought he took off too many plays and wasn’t deserving. You need to learn more about the program.

So, Bobby the HC, didn't want his kid to wear 37 and his assistant coaches made him do it?

Is that what he said?

What would it take for you to call the year a success?

So many questions, yet so few answers. Let’s start with “what would it take for me to call the year a succes?’
How about 10-1 with a win over the cats.

A $500 bet on the victor in the Griz/ca game. Your on, except make the check out to GSA and while we’re at it let’s make it $1,000 and proof and validation on egriz? I realize I’m betting against myself but the $1,000 would be worth it. Put up or shut up..

All you bashers seem to think I’m a bobcat troll, wrong on all accounts. I’m a U of M graduate who lived out of state for thirty and back for 25 I’ve never waived from my commitment to Griz athletics even while away through the good and bad years. And one more thing, I’ve never called for firing Bobby. But a repeat of last year’s performance, not hopping for but opposing coaches seem to see it that way. Polls mean nothing so let’s strap em up and play the game.
And for the fan who called me a cat troll you might just as much called my grandmother a Nazi.

You'll probably want to tag Hoops to talk about that bet, that was him.

I'm glad to know that there is a way to appease you, at 10 wins and beating the Cats. Hopefully we are celebrating that together after the end of the year. Thankfully, we will have a very good team and these polls are meaningless.

Now suddenly polls mean nothing? Wasn’t that the entire bassi of your original post?

Note to Mthoopsfan.

I’ll put my money where my mouth is and I expect you to do the same to be verified on egriz.

I’ll see your $500 and raise you $500 for a total of $1,000.00 to be donated to GSA for football practice facility. If the Griz beat the cats. Which I sincerely hope. It would be worth it to me.

Yours truly

I said he didn’t want 37 FOR his kid. Learn to read. And don’t make racist comments.

I don’t do charity bets. My offer was to Turd.

Sure, let’s fire the coach for only winning one playoff game and being ranked No. 14. After being nos. 6 the 2 previous years. Maybe not a bad fan, but a dumb one.

Why on earth would Bobby have a player on the team, a starter nonetheless, that takes plays off? Sounds like a culture problem. Thank God Vigen does not allow stuff like that. That's why the Cats are on a different level than griz right now.
