I agree they could try, but as a former director of a foundation that was loosely tied to a small college/hospital, it’s nearly impossible if the donor earmarks their donated funds to a specific project. There is significant precedent in the court systems that would prevent that from happening. Like you said, they are just a Zealot and are shouting at anyone who will listen.
