This game was over 3 qtr ago, I love how most of you act like UNI or anyone else has a chance to beat them.

This 10 point lead may as well be 24 because 3 scores are not going to beat NDSU. They can turn it on and off at will. They would rather have a 4 point lead than 20.

If they hadn't got screwed at EWU by that horrible fumble call that was actually a TD they would be going for 6 straight.

If they don't lose this year they won't for the next 3 either they already own the last decade of football but they are not done yet

Yes! They are soooo awesome that I was thinking about switching teams too! Other teams do not even deserve to play on the same field. I think that the Tatanka should just play themselves week after week because no team is worthy enough to play them. ray:

You gotta know you are standing in the end zone and the clock in your head has to be much shorter. If your first option isn't immediatley available you throw it away

If you cannot get outside the Takles, then it is an intentional grounding penalty, which is a penalty in the endzone = safety. The O-line should have performed better. Poor play call. The QB did not have a chance. It happened too fast.

I hear what you are saying but I am not saying just throw it anywhere. You need to throw it near your first read. This is something they should have practiced many times. If not than it is a further symptom as to why they lost this game and a team like NDSU doesn't. Don't get me wrong it's easy to say on a forum and much more difficult to do on the field but the repercussions of not getting rid of that ball are such that you have essentially nothing to lose by getting rid of that ball.

Why? The UNI returner picked it up and bright it back to the 7. Even if he hadn't the ball would have been dead around the three. UNI would have taken that spot over the 1.

Like Prucop, he should be a RB. Wondering his IQ for allowing that safety to happen in that situation. No excuse to not get rid of the ball. Game over.

Is there anyone besides me that believes we could see NDSU hit with some infractions by the NCAA in a couple years? Especially if they win it all again this year. To be relatively new to FCS (less than 20 years). The rise an success they have had seems almost unrealistic.

This would like App State going FBS and then within a decade they are near the top of the FBS and then win 4 national titles in a row.

I could be wrong but I have a feeling some of that oil money has gained a few of these guys at NDSU!

If it's has or is taking place it will come out in the laundry. Just imagine a few years from now all those wins and titles get stripped for improper recruiting or something.

You do understand that NDSU was the most successful D2 school of all time right? Those teams from the 1980's would have straight up taken most FCS teams to the woodshed.

NDSU plays a brand of football that is unpopular today in college football. They recruit kids from a part of the country where kids and not highly recruited. They don't aim to get the kids from California, Florida and Texas. They get a bunch of kids from the upper Midwest who bust their fucking and are tough as nails.

I understand that you are sick of seeing NDSU win. Everybody gets sick of teams who win. I just don't understand the allegations based on nothing.

That one move would have made MSUs defense only give up 500 a game instead of 750

Ok so Georgia Southern at on point was the most dominate FCS program I doubt one would argue. If they in 10 years started winning repeat NC for multiple years in a row that would not raise an eye brow? Heck Bama at its level can't do that!

Besides I think you guys meet J State in the NC at this point and you run into a buzz saw this year. You guys had a heck of a run however!

All teams go through down times. I guess what counts is if they can come out of it. Griz are still working! Bison times will come.

I'm thinking more along the lines of steroid use. They always talk about their strength and conditioning program and how the constantly have players put on 50-60lbs in their time there. I wouldn't be surprised at all. That being said. They win their games with defense and special teams. Just like Bobby used to. The advantages that their special teams gives them and the multiple plays they make every game is unreal. It seams like every drive starts inside the 10 for every opponent

NDSU recruits a lot of Midwestern kids who aren't given a chance. They bust their ass and work hard. There is a reason why they rarely recruit outside of the Midwest.

NDSU has been incredibly fortunate on this run. In 2012, Georgia Southern had the semi final game close to won. Last year, both SDSU in the second round and Illinois State in the national championship game , both had NDSU on the ropes.

It's an incredible run for sure. It will end at some point, but NDSU isn't going away in the future. This team is young. Especially the defense. They will be the #1 team to start the year next season.

Good post. A few Houdini acts in there for sure, but great teams never give up even in the darkest moments. And it looks like your good fortune continues with getting to host next week since Richmond upset the #2 seed Illinois State. I think you will blow out the Spiders in the Fargo Dome.

The Spiders could give the Bizon a game. And, sorry fellas, but we have no room to judge. Each team in the two games I watched, J'ville vs Charlston and, Uni vs NDSU, would have been a very difficult match up for the Griz. Boring maybe, but damn tough running games.
