NDSU vs UNI

Colgate just ate a bunch of clock -- keeping it away from the SHSU offense -- and got it down close at the end of the 1st quarter. And then scored easily. Which is good, since their D has not shown much ability to stop the SHSU O.

(Good that somebody combined these game threads. :thumb: )

Feel like UNI needed more out of that turnover
I agree, but they did get points ... and one more than the other guy is all it takes at the end. :)

true but if a team like NDSU hands you a TO deep in their territory you need points and make a statement by punishing them with a TD.

Meanwhile, down at Sammie, Colgate is proving that their defense is over-matched. SHSU has only 16 yards less rushing than the almost-all-run Raider ... and over 150 yards passing. (Colgate has like 10-15 passing yards.)

Watched the games last night....watching this game....all these remaining teams would have destroyed the Griz this year.

Tend to agree. Except that Colgate is in so far in over its head, it's hard to tell whether or not SHSU is good, bad, or indifferent. Score 28-7, and SHSU has more than doubled up Colgate in total offense.

Okay, check that (maybe). Seems that the Colgate QB actually does know how to throw a pass. Good play action, now down only 14-28.

MVFC football is boring as all hell to watch

Really? I couldn't disagree more....
I get what he's saying. I like the old school, punch you in the mouth football like we're seeing today. I also like Stitt's spread out offense. I HATED our offense under Delaney, it was like MVFC-lite.

I can enjoy every style of offense. Looking forward to the flexbone in the army-navy game. Love the old Osborne I-option, the rich rod/urban Meyer spread to run, the run n shoot, etc...football is awesome, period.
