The Bison have never beaten the Griz in a postseason finale either because they never played in the championship game because the Bison were lowly D2 until last 20 seasons.
Is that when SDSU boat raced you in Frisco ?

ha. Nice way to deflect and not have to answer the actual question. At least the Griz were playing that day. The poor old fat buffaloes were at home watching on TV.
The Bizons didn’t even win a single medal in Helsinki.

That isn’t true . Both played in College Division which used to have regional bowls and a national champ was named after.
1969 Cameillia Bowl . #1NDSU vs #2 Montana

That ended up being the defacto national championship game and NDSU was named small college National Champions by the Associated Press and UPI which was a system used to rank best small colleges from 1958-1974 (think BCS).

Try telling someone who played on those teams that those national championships didn’t matter.
Also for what it is worth, the past, unless it involves players currently playing, is irrelevant.
For what it worth though, in the College Division years, schools like San Diego State, UNLV, Southern Miss, Arkansas State used to compete in that division. Would be more like common day division with FCS and G5 schools.

What I think is weird is that a griz "fan" starts a thread about ndsu-und right about the same time the griz are playing, I could maybe understand if it was a conference rivals game, but nope...
Why do you suppose there isn't any threads about Msu -Weber State, or even one about Sdsu-usd?

If it is a serious question and you really are not paying attention to the polls, maybe go take a look at where NDSU is ranked and where Montana is ranked.
We had a thread about Tarleton State last week also for the same exact reason. Jeez.
What you don't mention is that Montana had many notable starters for those games ineligible because they were JC transfers. Stupid Small College rule.

Personally I like good football and since I cant watch anything like that in Montana I keep track of NDSU and SDSU, maybe some Oregon mixed in and wonder why we cant have half of what any of those programs have.
Did you watch the game today, that was against a horrible EWU team and honestly if there was another minute on that clock we would have lost.
