NDSU vs SDSU Game Today

Not saying they’re unbeatable, but in what world would you see our defense stopping them rn?

I think we can offensively go toe to toe with anyone, but our defense has not shown up all season. With an OL like the Bison’s, things could get ugly quick

Exactly my concerns. I think they have a good enough defense to at least slow down our offense, but the reverse is not true. Which is a problem.

So we pitch a shutout vs. Cal-Poly in the second half, we sack Sac State's QB six times, a season high, with FCS National Defensive Player of The Week Peyton Wing responsible for 3 of them, and we hold Sac State to 21 pts until the final 4:30, when Coop and Tim play some of our 2's and 3's, knowing the game is over, we have bigger fish to fry, and we need our starters for upcoming games, including the playoffs because we just made the playoffs by pounding Dr. Woody's Suck State House Flies--we now have 7 Div. 1 wins and in all likelihood we finish 2025 with 10 + wins and you're still not happy ? In the immortal words of native New Yorker and former Wimbledon and US Open Champion 🏆 John McEnroe yelling at a tennis umpire during a match, " Are you serious ? You can't be serious !!! "

And the same defense that beat NDSU just two years ago with holdovers from that team like Ramos, Rausch, Leonard and Huff and we're going to still pee and poop 💩 ourselves if we have to face the Bison again ?

For those second guessing 🤔 Coop, Tim and Bobby, the name of the game right now that we have made the playoffs is home-field advantage--we want to keep playing @ WA-GRIZ into late December until it's hopefully time to board the plane in early January for Tennessee. If that means pulling our starters when the game is already decided so they're healthy and rested for our next game and giving our 2's and 3's some badly needed live reps in case they have to answer the bell due to injury or penalty--targeting on Wing--in an upcoming game and allowing the opponent to score a few junk TD's in the process, so be it. !!!

I love where we are right now--we're not perfect nor will we ever be, but we're pretty damn good on both sides of the ball. !!! While I respect your opinion and have carefully read it, I think you're being Debbie and Danny Downer by being so pessimistic. !!! ( Right now, Tim and Coop are dissecting the tape, looking for flaws in our D, and making adjustments for Weber--nothing new: they do this after every game. !!! )

Our D--as reflected by the 6 sacks--is clearly playing better now than at the beginning of the year, and I think we agree that there is room for improvement, and our coaches and players agree, are not content, and are already making those adjustments--play zone here, man to man there, blitz here but not there-- to get better ahead of this week's game in Ogden. !!!

Go GRIZ. !!!
