NDSU tix the toughest ticket ever?

You Griz fans have I think is the best outdoor stadium in the FCS no doubt. It looks fantastic. I wish I could be there as a Bison Fan but not all of us can pay the going rate. Some of us have kids in college and you know not all kids play football and are on scholarships. (Real world)
However the ONLY reason this game is at the HYPE is because of the incredible national recognition the Bison have as a national power and brand with ESPN(yes you once had it). So get real, enjoy the capital gains you can make with your tickets for the opening ESPN game of the season on behalf of the Bison.

Many of us Bison Fans realize it could be a very entertaining game, or possibly a blow out with the Bison Arsenal on offense if the coach lets his QB cut loose but that is not the Bison way. At the same time its a new turn for many of us Bison Fans because our offense is loaded, yet our Defense has so many talented untested young true freshman and redshirt freshman you might see 6 freshman starting on the defensive side of the ball we are a bit uncertain but hopeful. This plays into the college game and the new recruits do they continue tradition or drop the ball? Saw 2 LInebackers for Griz (seniors, tough guy drinking stuff, other traffic violations?) WOW. A game of this magnitude and 2 seniors in separate incidents screw up and can't lead by example? that's the stuff the the Griz can't get away from. Luckily the Bison have had a great run of quality student/athletes and that is half the challenge of all college football players. Those Linebackers for Griz as I watched them last year. It will hurt not having one for sure, don't know about the other?

Anyways like I said wish I could be there, but will watch Brent Musberger do his thing and make this game as big as possible for the national college landscape.

Bison 48 - Griz 17.

Go Herd - oh by the way we love to play in the big TV games first game of the year! And yes that being the visitor. The facts are the facts.2.4 weeks till kick off.

Bis Bison - the Tradition continues Strive for Five!

Can you imagine what they'd cost if we played in a 16,000 seat shed rather than a real football stadium?

That all depends on the rain, and thus, the crop yields. As we've learned from our lumbering, fried butter-eating friends in West Minnesota, the rain affects attendance in the gym in very mysterious ways.

Reminds me of a pilot that didn't get picked up:

In West Minnesota, born and raised,
In the kitchen was where I spent most of my days.
Pigging out, binge eating, sucking bacon drool,
And all challenging neighborhood kids to eating duels.
When a couple of guys, who were up to no good,
Opened up a Whole Foods in my neighborhood.
I had one piece of kale and my mom got scared,
She said, "You're moving with your auntie and uncle in Eau Claire.

I whistled for a cab, and when it came near,
The cabbie yelled, "Weight limit is that of a steer."
If anything, I could say that this cab was rare, but it wasn't. It was actually very, very common. I spent the latter part of the day trying to hail a cab to my auntie and uncle's house to no avail. Nobody would pick me up because I weighed more than a steer. Apparently, they were not kidding about that weight limit. Anyway, I ended up hoofing it to some sort of brothel where I turned tricks until I had enough money to finally convince a nice rancher to throw me in the back of one of his trucks of cows to Eau Claire.
"Yo, home, to Eau Claire."

I, pulled, up to the house about 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cows, "I want butter!"
I looked at my kingdom, I was finally there,
To post on eGriz,
As a T-Buff in Eau Claire.

 :thumb:

BisBison (I'm guessing that was supposed to be "BigBison -- 'cause aren't you all? -- but your fat fingers got in the way??), I wish you were coming to Missoula and bringing whatever shit you're wasted on. It must be REALLY good.

And how rude of me. I haven't even asked any Tbuff fans how the turnip crop is looking this year.

I guess your not into facts and what is happening the FCS over the last 4 years? Your top notch with the language and it is Bis Bison (Short for Bismarck) again if you every looked beyond your state line you would know that.
I guess you don't even look at the compliment I mentioned of your stadium.

You don't have to act like your 18 years old or like your senior linebacker and got into a tough guy mold. Didn't do him well either.

You need to enjoy the truth of 2 great programs and the up coming game.

Enjoy the media frenzy man, the Sports World will be all over you guys in 2 weeks so enjoy the national attention. Just look at the facts, I didn't make them up, then talk with intelligence so some of us Bison Fans can learn more about your team and who's the leaders on your team etc.....

Later,
Bis Bison 1, Go Herd.

I'm just going to leave this here.

Yeah, we'll enjoy the attention. I mean, it's like we've NEVER had ESPN at our stadium before. Thanks Bison!

Have the Bison ever scored 48 in a game??

No. No they have not.

But, they are going to against our D??

Apparently. At this rate they will be predicting 126-7 by the time the game starts.

Yet every time one of their blowhards predicts a 21, 28, 35 point blowout and I try to get them to put their money where their mouth is they IMMEDIATELY come back with "but but but the line is 15!". Yet they were just SOOOOOOOO sure their beloved Bizon were going to put the wood to the Griz by some ridiculous margin a minute ago....

Hey Jay,
The Bison have scored over 48 points many times in the past few years. I'll bite the bait Jay to keep you chuckling.
The Bison have perfected the formula on how to win championships that's obvious. It the beat writers and national college fans who need to wake up and understand high scoring offenses don't win championships. If you like that then have at it.

Resolve, tradition, commitment to the program gets you national attention. You guys use to have that. That's a compliment.

I don't know how long we can keep winning but at some time it will come to an end due to coaches leaving, not good recruiting, injuries etc...... so just have to enjoy the fact that this years freshmen recruits will have 3 or 4 starting, amongst the Red Shirt freshman waiting their chance to shine so, lets say how about another 3 years of Missouri Valley dominance in the FCS and more trips to Frisco! Why not?

If you're going to the game enjoy it either way. There will be 3 or 4 Bison playing in the NFL next year or maybe CFL as well. Lots of talent on this team again offensively.

Once our game is done we will watch you Griz over the season and look forward to maybe post season play.

Be Herd,
Bis Bison 1

Man, you guys are the fucking KINGS of backhanded compliments.

Here, let me try one:

Hey! Good for you! You're not as fat as you used to be!

That's a compliment, by the way.

True. Apparently there are a bunch of fans in eastern No Dak wearing packer colors that haven't got that memo!

Come on guys, every good Bison Fan knows better to throw out crap, however history shows we have played EXTREMELY well in opening season games especially against FBS teams. Like the challenge, however this game takes on a different energy, past history, story line for both teams, national TV game of the day, and you have a BIG TIME college game to enjoy man! Its not KSTATE or Iowa State or Minnesota, but this new revived rivalry is good for both states and fans.
Oh by the way I no longer care about Sunday NFL football, after 45 years of following the Purple and 4 Superbowl losses, winning so much more fun. College football is real and not commercialized.

Thanks.

Thank you. Are there other types of stadiums besides outdoor ones?

Good one CDA Griz. That's a good point. But I will add as a fan its so nice to go inside and enjoy 68 degrees in November and December and not have to freeze my butt off, but yet I thought for sure you guys would kill Coastal Carolina once they got up to your place last year in the 5Below weather and fold to you. But they didn't. I guess the cold doesn't guarantee victory from southern teams?

Outdoors is great, no doubt, but I have no problem playing indoors either.

Thanks.
