Actually, if you asked NDSU, they would prefer to play Minnesota every year. There is a real rivalry there.

I don’t necessarily want the Buffaloes to go away. And by that I mean the team itself, not it’s waddling fans. I would love their fans to go away. They have to be the most annoying fan base in all of CFB, and not because they are the most obnoxious, but because their level of obnoxiousness is way out of whack. It’s not proportional but nothing in NoDak is. Their level of arrogance does not jive with reality, at all, because they got nothing else. Nobody really gives a shit about the FCS and certainly not that shithole of a wasteland. So they’re super loud and obnoxious for no real good reason. Crazy thing is when you meet them IRL, they are like the kindest people on Earth.
And how they could hang with Auburn? Good lord that is some Bobcat level delusion right there.

You are giving NDSU too much credit. It was only three in the 1960’s for NDSU.
