NDSU makes Deadspin.. not in a good way

They'd make more money if they allowed free press but initiated a "big and tall" surcharge at the UNDSU dome; well, when it isn't hosting the NoDak Flower Show and Tractor Pull.

I read through the first five pages of the bisonville.com thread on this topic and the majority of their fans seem to think this is BS. It certainly doesn't help them in the public relations aspect.

How long until Ohio State University protects their "brand" by trademarking the word "THE"?

I guess this cuts both ways. Yale stole our school motto in 1736. I've never forgiven those blue blood bastards.

Jeremy Jorgenson was the sports director at KPAX and did play by play for Griz broadcasts during the Hauck era, if that counts.

Jorgenson seems to be picking and choosing which members of the media he wants to interact with just like Hauck did. :|
 
I don't understand why so many on this website are keen to cut NDSU down. Don't we dream that the GRIZ could get to this level? They haven't lost the thing that we are chasing since two coaches ago for us. I am a maroon and silver koolaide drinker but holy hell let's be real here, Fargo's program is what we all want to be program wise. Not in real terms because that town sucks but still...

So true! NDSU wanted to be the Montana Grizzlies, and they achieved that and heights not seen in Missoula. I don't get the animosity toward the best team in the FCS. It makes the Griz look small and whiney.

You're missing the point of this post.. no program is too big for this treatment of the media who have propped them up over the years.

Right...if any program had a right to do this it was the Griz when FlorioBag was throwing haymakers at our program.....I havent even heard of any media being anything but positive about the mighty beezon.

Yeah I get that in terms of how they are treating their own media, my comment was more general in nature. Nobody should be biting the hand that feeds them.
