Looking at NDSU's schedule, the play Weber at Ogden two weeks before they play the Griz.

Very interesting.

And in 2015 they have the Griz and Weber back to back:

Sure getting their share of the Big Sky foes.

Their AD refuses to schedule UND yet he uses other Big Sky schools as examples of why their schedule is mostly full. He's a total douche.

Tough thing for us is we will be there first home game--they should be pretty rabid!

Actually it looks like Incarnate Word is their first home game, but.... yeah, they will probably be tuned for the Griz.

Kudus to Weber for stepping up their schedule, too. Arizona St, NDSU and SFA. Not bad.

A few facts:
1. The last game was played in Grand Forks.
2. UND beat NDSU 28-21 in overtime.
3. After that year AD Roger Thomas refused to play.
4. UND stayed in D-II.
5. NDSU moved to D-1.
6. UND moved to D-1 5 years later.
7. UND offered an opportunity to play in Fargo for a $175,000 payday in 2015 and an option for $190,000 in 2017.
8. UND AD Brian Faison et al doesn't want that deal.
9. NDSU wants 6 home games per year with one FBS game per year.
10. Achieving that goal has not been easy but AD Gene Taylor has done the job.
11. NDSU doesn't need the game with UND to sellout the FargoDome 19,000 capacity.
12. UND struggles to fill up the Alerus Center 13,500 capacity.
13. Hopefully they can meet in the playoffs and may the best team win.

Regarding no. 12; "struggles to fill up the Alerus Center...." ; that's a pretty healthy euphemism; actually most ND class B football fields could house that crowd.

One fact:

1. Both UND and UND-Fargo are in North Dakota (and not the "good" side).

There are no other material facts regarding these schools.

What strikes me on my (thankfully infrequent) trips through north Dakota is the soul-sucking hopelessness of the place. It feels like some kind of alternate and terrible reality, suffocating in its gloom.
Believe me when I tell you that crossing the border from Montana is a very, very hard thing.

Are you saying your roads aren't paved up to the North Dakota border. If they aren't my comment would be the hell you say. I could never tell the difference for 150 miles on either side. Custer eventually realized where it was better and we didn't have any roads then.

That is exactly what I'm saying.
