Sounds like a way for Brand to keep this asinine rule in place and shift the blame away from NCAA to take the heat off of him. I get really irritated when Title IX shuts down wrestling programs.. if the demand is there, let 'em have the sport.

The only reason this is an issue is that nobody listens to my solution: sponsor girls' football.

Do that, and there's no schollie balance issue.

Its more about revenue, than just shollies. Even with Girls fooball, schools may not add wrestling in favor of sports that brings in more money.
