NCAA Production DVD of the Game

Yea, usually 30 min does the trick. Lost the last minute of so, :-( Yes next time 1-hour min. Does ESPN ever make games available on DVD?

Don't sweat it too much...not much happened in that last minute.

That's exactly what happened GM, but I have spectrum cable, or whatever the hell they are calling themselves now...won't happen again I'll say that. Minimum of an hour extra from now on!

Hell yeah. I learned my lesson. I'm hoping someone will upload the entire game to YouTube.
That would be awesome.

Never understood why in a world of "fanatics", why some enterprising up-and-comer hasn't figured out how to sell/rent these things to folks like us who would pay for the privilege of replaying them when we wanted? As I am typing this I realized that if CDA IS GETTING OLD, I'm a f$&king dinosaur.

Probably because what you're suggesting is almost certainly a violation of copyright law and will get the person who does it way too much attention from ESPN lawyers. What I don't understand is why ESPN itself doesn't create a little sideline that does that. I suppose it might cut into their online catalog, but they should be able to work that out ... at a reasonable price. Not all of us have easy links between the Internet and our TV. And I'd much rather watch the replay on my big screen from a DVD, rather than on my computer display.

Is there a web site to buy these? Especially the older ones. Are the NC games somewhere also on DVD?

Try this site: http://www.myfootballdvds.com/ncaa_football.html

I ordered the dvd of the game and the guy claims it's in the mail. I will let you know in 5 - 10 days whether I just wasted $14.

Great find, Da!

And I love that the guy has this disclaimer on his own site:

the sale of sports telecasts is illegal and not condoned

But yes, please let us know if you get the game and if it's close to HD quality.

Will do. He asks for a donation of $14 using PayPal, so he must think he is somehow avoiding copyright laws. I will know if I have been scammed in a few days.

The entire game is also on Youtube...

The DVD from http://www.myfootballdvds.com/ncaa_football.html of the NDSU game showed up today. It was mailed from Japan. It is actually pretty good quality.

Man, that was subtle.....Talk NDSU about sucks subliminal messaging.

I downloaded the YouTube video offered by the NCAA. YouTube videos aren't readily downloadable, but you can download the entire video in high definition using clip grab, which you should be able to get for free. You can decide at that point if you want to convert it to MPEG4 or not. If you want to play the Disc on your DVD, you're better off going MPEG4 because you're DVD burner is going to convert it to 2 channel audio MPEG2 anyway.

But you can stream it to your TV from your computer as MPEG4. It can still be put on a disc, just skip the DVD conversation. If you have a smart TV or chromecast, it works great.
