UM has already RTD under Hauck. No. 2 team last season. Being talked about by Hero as one of top 4 teams. In the last 4 seasons, I'm pretty sure that UM's average post-season ranking is now no. 3 in FCS schools, with only the 2 Dakota schools being ahead.
Hauck is and has been one of the top FCS coaches, since his first stint at UM.
Hauck is one of the best college ST coaches in the country. He has been offered top college as well as NFL ST jobs since he returned to MT. UM's coaching staff is very talented and one of the best in the country.
Getting to the national champ game is tough. Almost no schools have been able to do that consistently. Certainly, NDSU. More recently NDSU. App St. Less so, Georgia So. Griz in 2000's.
UM appears to be a roll. Things look terrific for next season. We shall see.
