I cant believe that finish to UNI Texas.
HOT DAMN! Buzzer beater wins it for the Panthers ... and another P-5 team goes down! And, even better, it's Texas. Life is good.IdaGriz01 said:Could go either way. Tied with a minute left.cmtgrizzly said:Not BSC but hoping UNI can win. SFA already won and these two programs have made big strides and are what I hope we can get to in the next few years and hopefully only go up from there
Yep, and the last game of the day is down to the wire too, cmtgrizzly said:Great game as is the st joe and cincy game
27-9 here, including the four play-in games (or "first four" as the PC-ers say).mtgrizrule said:Bad news, lost Michigan St from my Final 4. Good news, went 25-7 in the ESPN Tournament Challenge in the 1st Round.
How about that game winning shot for Northern Iowa? I have them and Arkansas Little Rock as my sleeper picks making the Sweet 16.

...
The Spartans were the most popular bet to win the NCAA tournament at the Westgate SuperBook in both money and number of tickets after the bracket was released.
...
The biggest decision of the early slate was the Oklahoma-Cal State-Bakersfield game. Eighty-five percent of spread bets on the game were on the Sooners -14.5. Oklahoma won 82-68. As the Sooners dribbled out the final 15 seconds, the desperate crowd yelled, "shoot" and "foul" at the Westgate SuperBook.
Middle Tennessee and Cal State-Bakersfield covering the spread produced multiple six-figure wins for Caesars.

OKay, finally we have some drama. Duke came out of the half "fat, dumb and happy" and Yale has made a huge run to cut the lead to 7 points. Nothing against Coach K and Duke in particular but -- since my overall bracket is shot -- why not another low-seed upset?IdaGriz01 said:After a horrible start (falling behind by over 20 points), Wichita State "won" the rest of the game but still lost by 8, 65-57. Yale is already behind Duke by 8 at the official 11-min TV timeout. Not much drama so far.
Give Yale credit. They did make a game of it, even if they lost in the end.IdaGriz01 said:OKay, finally we have some drama. Have not watched a lot of Zags BBall this year, but have to say the improvement in their guards seems like the crucial factor in how this team peaked into the conference tournament and now into the NCAA run.maroon said:Zags destroyed Utah. I read that Few has already turned offers to go elsewhere, but you wonder how longer much before some big school makes him "an offer he can't refuse."
Yep. Hopefully, the Gaels can go a long way in the NIT, although they struggled at home against a much weaker (by the numbers) NMSU team in the opening round. If they don't play a lot better in the next round, against Georgia, they are going to get creamed.EverettGriz said:Few isn't leaving Spokane.
That result really highlights how badly St Marys got screwed. I hate to say it, but they deserved the spot that Tink's OSU team got. The P12....wow.
