What a joke six months later and they still aren't finished. Is the beer and fishing really that good this year guys?

If guys are investigating in Missoula, they could be like my friends from Colorado. They came to Missoula for a week on business. Well, it turned out to be 2 weeks, they added more time, just because they could not get enough of the Missoula strip clubs. :thumb:

Colorado strip clubs must suck, because Montana's sure do. :shock:

Well when a majority of our program is self-supporting while a much larger portion of yours is not... I'd say that's probably not accurate.

Brint, any idea how much Griz Nation contributes to the Missoula economy on a football Saturday? I had heard between $1 - $2 million/game but never checked it out.

Wow... just, wow. You should quit while you're behind. Everyone on this entire board with the exception of you... and perhaps one or two other numb posters... knows that MSU (Largely thanks to a change in philosophy after the SI article, and also with the addition of Rob Ash) has cleaned everything up and relatively speaking we have one of the cleaner football programs in the nation. Hopefully you guys are heading in that direction.

First and foremost: Any wrong doing at the University needs to be brought to the surface and surgically removed no matter what the cost. I am hoping this is what the "geniuses" the NCAA provided us are doing. I don't care if we have to start from square one; I'll be there.

Second and said tongue and cheek everyone needs to calm down. We have a simple recovery strategy to follow set forth for us by our neighbors to the East.

1. Become laughing stock of Big Sky.
2. Hire Coach Kramer and enable him to do whatever it takes to win.
3. Start winning again.
4. Act shocked and appalled when we discover the underhanded things he did to rejuvenate program.
5. Fire him, throw him under the bus, and pretend to take the moral high ground.
6. Hire coach with great integrity to ride coattails of previous success, and continue pretense of the moral high ground.
7. Pretend what happened is null and void because we fired the coach under whom wrong doings took place. (Technically you can argue we've already done this). Wait, since we have a new coach do we even need to do any of this? I think we can just start throwing our old coach under the bus now, and start talking about Delaney's character.

Disregard seven steps and commence the Delaney integrity gravy train, and Pflu/Bobby smear campaign. Whew, glad that's all over with!

the only image i have of the kittens is the downtrodden look on the players and the fans faces as the "#1 team" in the country was destroyed 36-10 in the comfy confines of the litter box...... :thumb:

Your football program is only one part of a DIRTY athletic deptartment, run by the same guy who was in charge of the department when your football program was Dirty too!

Does this mean the Cat's will be plagued by scandal and it could be Ash's last year? Or maybe this award doesn't mean squat about how clean your program is? Seems like the award is more curse than benefit so far.

Grizbeer, we will see! I know MSU has good programs in place to mitigate things happening but anytime your dealing with kids anything can happen as you well know. Like I said before, it is probably one of the biggest reasons why coaches do not sleep at night.

There is a reason why all the investigations are going on and people were fired there at UM. Whatever the result, the objective is to put in stronger controls and programs so to minimize recurrence.

My point is that Bear Axed comments are just plain stupid as Ash and AD Fields have done a good job so far. There is no evidence at all of a dirty program or any type of cover-ups. For Bear Axed to say those things is ignorant!
