NAU seems to be cruising to the title.

I was told by eGrizers they were paper tigers and they would lose 4 Conference games. At 10-1 they need to lose out their last 3 to lose 4 games. Anyone see that happening? I think realistically they'll go 12-2 for the Conference.

I think they will... they are playing the best ball in conference.

I know this feels like the Red Sox chasing the Yankees. We're 2 down with 3 to go for NAU and 4 to go for us. We need help! We can win the game we have remaining with them but we need NAU to lose at Sac. State or MSU. It's very possible but we need help Cats and Hornets. And I'm extremely worried about our games at EWU and PSU, we are not a solid road club.

NAU already beat Sac twice.

Even if they lose two out of three we're forced to win all 4. I don't like that we seem to lose focus on the road.

Have faith, the fact that we won our rival game tonight while we repeatedly threw rocks at the rim is a good sign. We couldn't buy a basket and still won by nine against the third place team.

Until NAU wins two of the toughest conference games on the road, then yes, I think that UM has the chance to catch them.

All the Griz need is for NAU to falter at Bozeman or Sacramento and then the conference title is in their hands. If the Griz win out, I guarantee that they will host the tournament.

If NAU gets 1 out of 4 of their final games - I'd be fairly suprised. :twocents:

Losing to Weber state really hurt. I think that the Griz are better than NAU. But our remaining schedule isn't easy-particularly
EWU on their home court. It all depends on shooting-our 3ball shooting is very erratic with the exception of Kevin. Strait needs to shoot from the top of the key to lessen being double teamed in the low block. NAU has had a very complimentary schedule-do they ever play on the road?
