NAU Scouting Report

Well this won't be good as Brint's but since he hasn't posted yet I'm gonna give it a try. :new:

NAU "Lumberjacks" come to Missoula with a 1 and 1 record having lost to Arizona State 8000 to 0 and beaten UNLV in a close contest. After that game, Bobby Hauck ruptured a vein in his neck, he is listed as day to day for whomever the Rebs play Saturday.

The weather will be hot and the air smokey..people will drink beer before the game and at halftime. They will not return to the stadium until about 2 minutes to go in the third quarter, in other words about 10 minutes before they exit the stadium for good.

Mick and Scott will call the game on the radio and Mick will point out once again that there are alot of empty seats. Gurnsey will respond by saying "Yep Mick, that's a lot of aluminum". Peter Nyugen will fumble the first punt of the 2nd half and NAU will recover on the 1 yard line and have 1st and goal. Mick will fall back on his always optomistic phrase, "we got them right where we want them". Gurnsey will state, "Yep Mick, just giving the other guys a chance."

The game will be broadcast on Root Sports and called by a couple of dudes we've never heard of. A few EGrizzers will start numerous topics about not being able to watch the game via streaming.

NAU is located in Flagstaff.

Their coach is former Montana DC, Jerome Souers, who has lost to Montana 14 straight seasons. Jerome loses more hair with each loss to the Griz.

NAU players are big, fast and play football.

Expect Montana to come away with a 10 point win. Samples of Coach Souers' hair can be collected with the winning 50/50 ticket.

**Oh yea and Alpha will drink vodka before, during and after the game.

Well, its the best I can do. Give me a break I'm a fan only, never played the game myself. :D

Reading my own effort makes me appreciate Brint's report, of course Growler1 would disagree.

Doesn't matter what you say; doesn't matter what you do, for "G1" would always say: you're... ...coating. No matter what, D-U-D-E!!!

Was that Growler1 when he was really young before he coached HS football and made all that money the rest of us should be envious of?

Maybe I should have utilized this comparison instead:.. But still quite an insult either way. "G1" having no more credibility than a comic strip character, that is, anyways.
