Yet for rest of the game they for the most part kept Liberty in check. There is not 1 game the defense lost the game for the GRIZ. If the offense had done their part against Liberty and Poly we would not even be discussing this nonsense. Stitt is not blaming the defense. He has taken it upon himself for the offense to do what is expected and to clean things up. The defense is the reason the GRIZ have been "in" position to win those games. The defense has improved drastically the last few years. Just a few years ago, teams were passing all over the field against our defense. Running teams were dominating the defense. Both kinds of teams were putting up ridiculous numbers.
I am sure more GRIZ fans would side with me on this one, regarding the defense.

A win is a win, is a win, is a win. PERIOD. Oh, except when it's the Griz I guess #Egrizlogic

IF they would have scored every time they hit the red zone, Griz win. I am confident coach stitt will get that straightened out. GO GRIZ! Oh yah, and improve the kicking game. Got to have the points when you can get them.

Both defensive ends are 6-2 and 230 and the two starting tackles are 280 and 265. No wonder they got run over by Arizona. It will help if Chalich can keep the back side end or linebacker honest with a few runs from the read option. I think part of the problem with BG was that the D did not think he was enough of a running threat to keep them honest.
