NAU feeling the pressure, guts out win

unlike you Grizzlies, us Lumberjacks are not used to playing as favorites and it showed today. They looked off, Cary Grossart had "happy feet" all day. Our defense rescued us.
I really think this team can win a game or two in the playoffs (if they make it that far) Bauman is the real deal.
 
It looks like that NAU vs CPSLO game could set up to be the conference title game... CPSLO has Sac tonight and I think their game @ EWU is a non-counting conference match up.
 
That NAU game reminds me of the 2009 Griz ISU game.
ISU was playing one of the best Montana teams in history and we escaped with a 12-10 win with a last second field goal.

yeah, NCU played very well, especially their defensive line. They basically stalked Bauman all day - gave Grossart the whole field - but he was missing receivers left and right. Apparently very windy out there, at least that's what the announcers were saying.
Sign of a good team - winning when you don't play your best.
