Just wondering where all the NAU fans are? Will they come back to the board to defend the NAU loss? I remember something about under 75 yards rushing...think we had a buck thirty-three....something about WaGriz not being special and use to big crowds....yeah heard that from SF Austin fans as well...still trying to figure out if that offensive penalty for NAU was to quiet the crowd or not.

I'm sure we will hear a bunch of "ifs, ands & buts". However, "ifs, ands & buts" are nothing but candies and nuts, so have a Happy F-ing Halloween.

NAU has nothing to hang their heads about. They played the better game overall; they kept Reynolds in check, as has everyone else we have played. For 58 minutes, this was the worst offensive performance I have seen from a Griz team in 20 +years. Special teams was bad; thank God for our defense.

NAU is a good team and they played tough. I give them credit

Totally agree with you about NAU, but I believe last week against PSU was the worst offensive performance I have seen from the Griz in 20 years. :o Hoping the jello settles in month of Nov.

Walking into the game at halftime I talked quickly with #89's parents, seemed like good people, said lots of good things about Wa Griz such as, "It's way louder here than it is at ASU." Also they told me about Herrick's hand surgery.

Walking out of the stadium with a few NAU fans they were just shocked, they could hardly speak, one mother (she had a button on with a photo of an NAU player) was crying.

NAU fans rightfully so should be shocked, they played a heck of a defensive game and did what they could to win it, and just fell short. Without their stud QB NAU just about beat the Griz on the road, they should be proud, although right now I could understand why they probably have a real hard time feeling that way. NAU is a good team, and they just about pulled off a 2nd major win in as many weeks.

:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: and if they win out they will be in the playoffs.

If Herrick had been able to play, I think the outcome would have been TOTALLY different.

That is an "if". However, there is a possibly a superior griz team and coaching staff wins by double digits. ;)

that Griz magic came through once more..... to a damn tough NAU team. They have nothing to be ashamed of.

Yes, a tough NAU team. However, I don't know if it is magic. Pflu made one of the greatest decisions in the history of Griz football by letting NAU score that TD. The Pflu crew knew they needed the ball back asap. This game was won with a superior call to let them score and superior Pflu-ball execution in the final 2 minutes.

Strategically, I was surprised the RB crossed the goal-line instead of falling at the 1. New set of downs, no? This would have sealed the game, trailing by 2.

FIFY

No, Everett, that it NOT what I tried to say, nor what I intended, and I rather resent your "fix." The kid who played QB for NAU had never started a college game before in his life. Herrick may be the best QB in the Big Sky. There's a hell of a difference!!

had the pleasure of talking to # 5's parents and sister. Wonderful people were truly amazed with the tailgate and the stadium. they were pretty much in awe of the entire experience/ They said we don't have anything like this at home-- I just said welcome to Montana football.

Hey, resent away. What do I care? I just think that if you're going to make a statement about NAU's starting QB being out (which I agree impacted the game), then it's necessary to at least point out that Selle (not to mention Jabin, Josh, Severin, Tyrone, Moore, et al) was also out.

Another fluke by Montana...We get a fumble recovered for a TD in the Endzone and it is called incomplete.....hmmm....homer call??? And then you win on a controversial interception, catch, out of bounds play.....WAgriz is a special place to play, when you have Montana on your uniform...what a joke...total garbage...and your big sky tv coverage sucks, all it shows is all the lame fans and your 8 mascots.
