NAU 2017 Season

Well, to me, this is going to be the most interesting team to watch in the big sky this year. All the FCS Twitter pages like Athlon and Hero Sports talk about how dangerous Case Cookus is and how he's got some of the best receivers in the FCS but if you ask me, I think the griz have better receivers. Not to mention NAU'S defense is not much. And let's not forget their the biggest choke artists in the FCS:

My prediction: 6-5. Instead of fading at the end of the season like they do every year, they fade at the start of the season this year and are on the outside looking in again this year. That's my prediction. What do you guys think

I think they win both games in Flag against WIU and ISU. And I think they lose 2-3 others (I picked CP, PSU & UM) to end up 5-3 (7-4) and on the outside looking in.

The past 6 years, NAU has only won their last game once. They are notorious for end of season losses. Not just the last game, but often the last 2 or 3 games. I say they lose again, especially on the road.

Robby Hauck is playing for the Jacks. He will probably red shirt. He would have gone to U of M as his father and uncle . But not with Stitt at the Helm.

8-3 if things go without a hitch. That probably won't happen. 7-4 is more likely with the additional loss being Cal Poly or UM. NAU is 20-6 at home the past five years. They're a different team in Flagstaff than on the road. The offense looks strong. Defense....who knows?

Regarding the U of M game at the end of the season, NAU has that 15 year streak U of M monkey off their backs. 3-1 turns into 4-1.

I'll tell Fisty to be nice to you guys in Missoula, Ursa. Maybe if the planets align, I can make the flight up?
