I have no issues with it being in DFW. I have issues with it being on a soccer pitch and competing with the NFL playoffs on TV.

Ha! Beat me to it. My wife's family is from Plentywood and they get lefse from Opheim every year around the holidays.

My wife is from Westby and their farmland is all over that area, Outlook, Plentywood, Westby, and even around the airbase at Fortuna.

I love it up there, try to get up there at least once a year. Tough with work and being far away though.

To bad the FCS NC game could not be held in the same venue as the FBS NC game. Have the FCS NC game that Saturday night and the the FBS NC game the following Monday. Sort of showcase both at one venue. Might get fans from all Four teams to attend games!

I had a friend, while attending college, who was from Glendive MT. He would always give me shit for being from ND and how Montana was so much better, BUT HE GREW UP IN f***[*] GLENDIVE!!!!!! Always laughed about that one.

Well keep in mind North Dakota is somewhere below Glendive. Just follow the river if you doubt me.

I actually like much of No Dakota (the part essentially west of the Missouri River). Though it does say something when the states surrounding you all tell North Dakota jokes. Some of the people might be wrong some of the time but all the people can't be wrong all the time.

I have seen Bakers its pretty nice as well. But I am certain you wont find a more beautiful field and facility for high school sports than the new one in Glendive...now only if they could field a team worthy of the facility...haha.

Safe to say both communities cashed in on the oil booms opportunity to build some amazing facilities.

Flights are far easier and cheaper to DFW than Chatty. I hope it does not leave Frisco.

Dallas is such a shitstain of a place...well most of Texas is for that matter but I see your logic i suppose, I just really liked Chatty always thought they did a nice job.

Totally agree on Dallas and Texas. I only went to one game in Chatty. Nice little town. Personally, I'd like to see the game wind up in Vegas (even though I detest the place) or Denver. Someplace centrally located.

Have you looked at a map of the united states lately??? Cant get much more centrally located than Dallas...unless you play the thing in Omaha or some place like that.

I wasn't discussing how "centrally located" the venue was. Not many are gonna drive to the game anyway. What's another hour or so in the air if the city you wind up in isn't a POS.
