Flights are far easier and cheaper to DFW than Chatty. I hope it does not leave Frisco.
Dallas is such a shitstain of a place...well most of Texas is for that matter but I see your logic i suppose, I just really liked Chatty always thought they did a nice job.

You have a long way to go, but I have no doubt the T-Buffs will get there someday. You can certainly PM me any time to ask questions about how to be a fan of a program with a storied history so that, in 25 years or so, you'll be ready!
Meh....I had great uncles winning national championships, actually one against the Griz, LONG before Montana became a champion in 1995. I think only Oklahoma has a higher winning percentage since the start of the 20th century. Getting to the national championship game is nice, but only one team (an the fan base) in the FCS should feel satisfied with their season on January 10th.
Making it to the title game is a great accomplishment, but I wouldn't be satisfied with a 2-5 record in that game if I was a Griz fan.
Nice try. T-Buffs started playing real FB in like 2004-2005.
My question is, why are there so many NDSU fans on our board? We are done playing them, don't they have their own board to go talk on? I find it kind of pathetic they sit and browse our board.
The_Real_Chief said:BadlandsGrizFan said:The_Real_Chief said:AZGrizFan said:Why do you say that?
Dirty, flat, full of fat people (hence why NDSU fans probably love it so much) and texans...Chatty was a great town for the championship game, people were great hosts, really enjoyed my trips down there...
Dallas is not dirty....one of the nicest and cleanest metro areas in the US in fact...Im guessing you havent traveled much if you consider Dallas and especially North Dallas dirty.
Well considering i've lived in Europe, the East, the South, and the Western US...no not at all haven't travelled at all, everyone is entitled to their own opinion I don't particularly like Dallas and you like it...all good, people get all worked up on here over such dumb stuff haha...I just liked Chattanooga as a better title game site and this whole thing becomes about Dallas being dirty vs non dirty, lets stay on topic here people.

Agreed. I don't mind TX, but they need to play the national championship game at a football venue. It's pretty stupid that it's played on a soccer pitch with repainted lines. With the departure of some great programs, the FCS just isn't what it once was.
If people are so jazzed about keeping the game in suburban Dallas, maybe they should try to have it at the Allen HS stadium.

Totally agree on Dallas and Texas. I only went to one game in Chatty. Nice little town. Personally, I'd like to see the game wind up in Vegas (even though I detest the place) or Denver. Someplace centrally located.

I've been to all four games for us down there and the field has been good, except for the one year. Even though it is a soccer stadium, it works out well I think.....I have sat all over the stadium and there really isn't a bad seat in the house and with all the upgrades that are planned it will only get better. It would be nice if it held 25-30K instead of 20 though.
Dammit. You're right.CDAGRIZ said:Pin2Win said:Oh man....bad analogy. Then griz fans are the "Liter-a-cola" kid. Its just weird honestly
Agreed. They mostly just want validation. In more ways than one, they are the Rod Farva of the FCS.
Uh, didn't the "liter-a-cola" kid run away when he saw Farva the next time after Farva beat him down? Yeah . . . I'm pretty sure his character is already taken.

How many construction cranes are there where you are as opposed to the Plano/Frisco area? The only thing I remember about Chattanooga is bad weather and a field that the turf came up. I was there for the 2000 game. Nothing remarkable to remember about the place. Enjoy eating pine cones in your little slice of Shangri-La.

Well, to be fair, it was YOU who went to the "dirty shit stain" card first.... :| :|
And I, too have traveled quite a bit in my lifetime, and Dallas can't hold a f***[*] candle to the East, The South, and most of Europe when it comes to dirty shit stains. Hell, Europe has a 5,000 year headstart on being a shit stain.

My move to TX has enabled me to substantially support UM in a way I never could living back there. I am known around the office and the neighborhood for my loyalty to Montana and have actually created a few new fans in the area. It's getting close to Dec 31 and time to re-up with my support. Maybe I should keep it designated to an institution down around this shit stain of an area.

TX, describes my situation almost EXACTLY. Of course, I don't live in that shit stain of an area around Amarillo... I live in the Shangrila that IS.....San Antonio!

We get to visit what is best about the SA-Austin area and then come back to sanity - with low humidity and far less cockroaches. BTW I just kicked in $2,500 to the U. Wouldn't ever think of doing anything else, just venting. I really doan' give a crap about where anyone lives.
On every Saturday I will have my Griz flag posted outside my house, like always.

In my ideal world I live in North Dallas Mon-Thursday...Missoula Friday-Sun....you dont happen to have a private jet we can share do ya??? hahaha............That being said...I love living in the Dallas area, as others have said before the people are very similar to Montanans in values and kindness. I'm always surprised at how many people I run into down here that know and recognize the Griz logo I'm often wearing.
