National Anthem - Boston Bruins Game

Anyone else hear the National Anthem from the Bruins game last night. It is being played on ESPN radio quite a bit.

Imagine what 26,000+ people in Wa-Griz would sound like if we all got behind it??? :thumb:
 
It happened a few years ago. The singer's mic went out, so the crowd sang the anthem as a group. There was a video somewhere, but I can't seem to find it now...

This was during the Wofford game in 2007. That was such a great moment! I got chills as we were singing it!

I'm sure it was pretty emotional in that stadium. It's a shame something terrible has to happen to bring bits and pieces of the country together if only for a moment! :?
 
I think the crowd should always take part in the anthem from here on out! Maybe this can be a new trend in WA Griz that will lead more to follow. A guest singer can lead the song but it belongs to the crowd!

I was at a Blazers game game a few years bavk when Sadam Hussains kids got taken down, you all may reall that. The info was broadcast into the game, the crowd irrupted chanting, USA USA USA. Freakin cool and gives you goose bumps.

I only wish we as a country would do more of this!

It's been a rough week for our country with attack in Boston and the mishap in West TX. Thoughts and prayers to those communities and families.

This. It would be great if the crowd was louder than the singer, every week.
