Don't we have a recent coach from USC staff... come on go get the QB :D Penn State back up just announced he transferring. Going to be a wild off season, seems like more so than in the past?

Started and played in five games... threw for 938 yards on 72-141 passing (51.1%)... threw just two interceptions all season... Rushed for 77 yards and two touchdowns on the year... went 10-22 for 254 yards against Southern Illinois... Threw for a touchdown and ran for another against South Dakota State... Rushed for a score against Illinois State.

2019
Totalled 2,778 passing yards for the season and 20 touchdown passes… Set the UNI freshman passing record...He was named to the 2019 All-Newcomer Team, MVFC Honorable Mention All Conference, and was awarded The Phil Steele Freshman All-American Third Team...His most versatile game of the season was against Weber State where he recorded 219 passing yards, 105 rushing yards and two touchdown passes... Twice earned MVFC Newcomer of the Week honors.

So with the free Covid year and only playing in two games this season sounds like he’d come in as a sophomore. I like that too.

Yes he did but it was to a Michigan State transfer. I looked at his tape, looked at his stats….. I think he’d have a chance to start here or at least be a darn good back up. I don’t mind the offer at all.

So you like 53% completion percentages from a 5'11" QB. I get it. The guy that beat him out led them to a 6-6 season. We need more.
 
I cannot imagine that this would be the only one. As has been said, should have at least 2. I like him as an option. I would like another.

yup. look at the teams who are interested in him...all low level teams with very few wins between them all. Probably a great kid but not going to be our answer.

Highlights are just that. Career stats tell a more complete story. Recruiting from a 6-6 FCS team is just what we need.
