At least for me; maybe the rest of you already knew this. I kept hearing references in the news and online to this being the first time ever that this game decided the BSC champions. This being the 122nd game between the Griz and their rivals, that seemed almost unbelievable. But then I remembered in my student days, we didn't play our rivals in the last game of the regular season; it was always mid-season. My scan of the records shows that the first year the Griz/rival game was the last game of the regular season was 1993. So, not quite as surprising that this is the first time ever this game has decided the BSC championship. A little trivia for you.
