My first home game in years. Two observations.

I say this because I live in Portland, so outside of seeing the Griz @ PSU last year, the last game I've been to was against South Dakota in 2014.

Anyway. Offense looks great! Carries momentum and defense get stops when it needs to. Two things:

1. JLM cannot physically sustain carrying this offense the way they're treating him. Of course teams will start double teaming him. Feels like Stitt needs to spread the ball around and use JLM in designated situations. If he's out for the playoffs, so are the Griz offense.

2. GrizVision does not play replays. They tease the replay but they never come. Even on official reviews. What gives??

As far as #2, just working out the kinks.

I believe they also have a policy of not showing a replay of any play that is considered controversial. It gets the crowd too angry if it ends up being called against the Griz.

If indeed they do have that policy, it is a shitty policy

It's a conference rule. So the "shitty" part is implied.

"pussification" [of American popular culture] ~ One of the great all time George Carlin quotes.

was it just me or did Peter Christian's voice sound muffled, hard to hear? The sound system overall seemed poor to us.....
the poor sound was really noticeable in NEZ, everyone around me was talking about it all game. that and the lack of replays

That's ok...the ever sport feed was total crap....every other play looked like it was being filmed by a camera from the 1970's. The entire feed was fucked for the first 7-8 minutes of the game.

I sit in section 108 and can tell you it's way too loud. I am almost deaf and it hurt my ears. Quantity over quality I guess.

The Griz vision is clear and gives a nice picture. No replays is crap! The sound system accompanying the griz vision sucks! Turn up the volume.

I agree with #1 Mr. 503 but I really saw a trend towards a balanced and diversified offense yesterday, a material improvement over games # 2, and #3.

Yesterday versus SUU:
Player . . . . . . . . . . Att. . . . . Gainers . . . . Overall Avg.
Jeremy Calhoun . . . 13 . . . . . . 97 . . . . 6.9
John Nguyen . . . . . 13 . . . . . . 90 . . . . . 6.7
Joey Counts . . . . . 3 . . . . . . . . 13 . . . . . . 4.3

UM at Cal Poly ( game #3)
Player . . . . . . . . . . Att. . . . . Gainers . . . . Overall Avg.
Jeremy Calhoun . . . . 11 . . . . . 67 . . . . . . 5.7
John Nguyen . . . . . 10 . . . . . 15 . . . . . . 1.0

UM at Northern Iowa (game #2)
Player . . . . . . . . . . Att. . . . . Gainers . . . . Overall Avg.
John Nguyen . . . . . . 24 . . . . . 86 . . . . 3.2
Treshawn Favors . . . . 3 . . . . . . 11 . . . . . 3.7
