My FCS Sleeper Team

Last night I was thinking about who could potentially creep up and be a threat in the FCS this year. The team to watch out for IMO is Villanova. They got a really good returning multi year starter at QB in Connor Watkins and they have a very favorable schedule.

In the non-conference they host Youngstown State who they beat in the playoffs last year, and Long Island, while going to Colgate and Maryland. In conference play, they avoid Richmond and UAlbany and they get a transitioning Delaware team at home the final week of the season.

I could see a very realistic chance that Villanova could go 11-1 and make some noise in the playoffs. They’re definitely a team to watch out for.
 
My sleeper though they are ranked 16 is Furman.
They play Ole Miss in the first game then W&M in their fourth game.
Could win both of those.
Just please don't be UNI for the sleeper!
 
My sleeper team is the Bobcats because they could cure insomnia in a way that warm milk and Ayn Rand novels could only aspire to.

I don’t even think Furman is gonna win the SoCon. They lost a lot of talent from that team that was in Missoula last year. I think it’s a 2 horse race between Chattanooga and Western Carolina
