MVFC upcoming weeks

Fascinating to look at the neighboring conference to us and where things are standing there. Where the Big Sky seemingly has just 3 or 4 teams in line for a playoff bid and currently 1 clear cut powerhouse leader - the MVFC has quite the stack of teams.

SDSU 6-0 / 3-0
USD 5-1 / 3-0
SIU 5-1 / 2-1
ISU 4-2 / 2-1
UND 4-2 / 2-1
UNI 3-3 / 2-1
NDSU 4-2 / 1-2
YSU 3-3 / 1-2

They have more schools of course but I generally wanted to pool the teams that either still have a playoff shot or a shot at the conference.

Now, looking at the weeks ahead:

10/21:

ISU vs YSU
SDSU vs SIU
UND vs UNI

10/28:

UNI vs ISU
SDSU vs USD

11/4:

USD vs SIU
NDSU vs SDSU

11/11:

SDSU vs YSU
UND vs USD
SIU vs NDSU

11/18:

ISU vs UND
NDSU vs UNI

NDSU has a real shot at being the new UNI. I see YSU, UNI, and (gasp) NDSU dropping out. Especially if they lose to UNI and/or SIU. MVFC is gonna be a bloodbath, but I bet they get 5 in the playoffs and maybe 6 if NDSU survives.

I don’t think NDSU is going to survive this year. What a refreshing scenario that will be.
