MT vs Drake Game is supposed to be about 6:30 Mountain time.

I couldn't take it anymore, just called the radio station In Des Moines to tell them to call us University of Montana instead of Montana State,
 
37-33 at half time, with the Griz trailing. The Griz are really lucky to be within 4. Drake is killing us on the boards so far, 18 rebounds to 10. The Griz have also turned the ball over 9 times.

Matthews is leading the Griz with 10 points at halftime & leading the Griz in rebounds with 3, but has 3 fouls, one of which sounds like it was on a questionable charge call... The Griz are shooting 52% from the field and 45.5% from 3 point range. Drake is shooting 51.7% from the field, and 60% (3 for 5) from 3 point range.

Drake's defense sounds pretty good in terms of causing turnovers. Of the 9 turnovers the Griz have, 7 of them have been steals by Drake.

Other scoring for the Griz has come from Strait who has 9, including a 3 right before halftime, Criswell has 7, Hasquet has 2 and Dlouhy has 5.

Hopefully the Griz will make some adjustments at halftime and start getting some rebounds & hopefully Drake will cool off a bit shooting.
 
Having Mathews with 3 quick fouls hurt too, Drake was really hot and has cooled off a bit, rebounds are a key like Dexter said. Chaveze also got 3 quick fouls.

Hey the announcer apologized for screwing up our name so I guess the call was worth it. :thumb:
 
The offensive rebounds are killing the Griz. The Griz only have 2, Drake has 8. Drake has 11 second chance points from what Holein just said. Dlouhy just hit a 3, Griz and Drake all died up now at 42!
 
The are hitting 3's like crazy, part of the reason they are getting all thos Offensive rebounds is the guy who is 6' 7" weighs 260, that is a LOAD. We need something from Martin and Chavez until Matthew gets back in.
 
Criswell got a steal, and on the fast break got a layup off of a assist from Ellis, and was fouled. Criswell hit his free throw and the game is all tied up now with 8 mins to go, 58-58.
 
Drake announcers are whining now, saying all Hasquet's screens are illegal. Now I know why he was calling us Montana State! :laugh:
