MSU/UCD game thread

At least the Cats have not taken the foot off the gas. I hope they get some of their back up offensive players in.
Right! If this were the Griz, Delaney would already have gone into play to not lose mode. No killer instinct.

With all the injuries, most of the starting WR's are actually backups, and at least 4 RB's and 3 TE's have played a lot already.

A+ to the MSU offensive staff for building their depth then. Are their coaches and fans using inexperience as an excuse and/or reason? It sure doesn't look like it

I've always had an interest in the phycological element of competition so this has me wondering. Nobody over here is as hard on our D as BN, who now call our D the 'open gate'. In classic egrizz fashion we seem to want some coaches heads on platters. Here's the thing, it seems many teams over the years with prolific offenses often match it with a crappy defense, and I wonder if it's because they just don't engage at the same intensity. If you know you're O can keep at scoring, then you don't put it all in the line on every play. Who knows. We certainly are sucking on D, but man these games are fun.

All be damn, their back up qb is doing more than handing off. They are actually running an offense with him too. This is how a staff builds their depth and prepares for the future!!!

They get a TD pass from Bleskin to Gates. Hate to stay it, can we have MSU's offensive staff, or at least 1 of them to be in charge of our offense? Their offense is light years ahead of the GRIZ offensive staff.

One would think 37 points would be reason for a coach to be happy for his team. Instead that is good for a 40 point loss.

It gets worse, the winning team taking a knee with 3 minutes left. Got to admit, the Cats looked terrific on offense.

This is the same officiating crew we had in at und
They should be fired. They seriously suck.

They've sucked for 15+ years. That's the crew I always look at and think... Shit there goes 14 points
Are we sure it's the same crew? I thought the ref was an old skinny guy, but I did watch parts and pieces of 20 or so games today so I could be wrong. The ref from the UND game reminds me of an actor in a couple comedy movies/tv shows (I love you man and Brooklyn 99)

Keep in mind, this is the same OC Bobcats fans were ready to crucify at the end of last season for their lackluster set of offensive performances to close out the year. If anything, I think this shows that good coaches can adapt. The question is, will ours do the same?

I would say the Cats offense is rolling and looks like a national championship caliber offense. Unfortunately I have hoped for too long that our defense would click. ...it is not happening this year. Waisted talent on offense with a sh###ydefense could spell an early exit IF we make the playoffs. Disappointing

I'll be watching the UCD game with you next week with much anticipation. I would believe any outcome right now. With the grizzz getting healthier and more experienced on the o line, I could see an easy win for the pinkies. Although the new QB for Davis could be the real deal, and should have his moments next week. With Manzenarus at 100%, this could be a good game. Careful.
