Predicted wins in bold:

8/30 at Arkansas State
9/6 Black Hills State
9/13 Central Arkansas
9/20 Eastern Washington
9/27 North Dakota
10/4 at Sacramento State
10/11 at UC Davis
10/18 Weber State
10/25 Open <--They might try to count this one
11/1 at Cal Poly
11/8 Portland State
11/15 Idaho State
11/22 at Montana

5-8 to a Bobcat fan; 4-8 to the rest of the world.

Average margin of loss will be 4.7 points, so Bobcat fans will say they "pretty much won 5 conference games" which will be a three way tie for third, which counts as a BSC championship in Bozeman. Because they would have had a hypothetical "easy route to the championship" as Big Sky champs if the "refs wouldn't have screwed" them in every loss, they will wait 30 years and hang a 2014 NC banner in Reno Sales. Powershift.

LOL... care to put some real money down on that prediction? Didn't think so. Oh, and the only person I've ever seen brag about games a team "almost won"... is Playa Rape.

Are you going to live 30 years to find out who wins the bet? How do I know you won't scorch the Earth of your estate before you kick it?

The Cats could very easily start the season out 1-3 due to having to break in a new quarterback. Bleskin only played a few full games last season and didn't look stellar, but that's to be expected when you throw a freshman into the fire to replace your all-star quarterback.

Games started by Jake Bleskin:
Messa State - W 26-0
  • Passing Completions/Attempts: 26/35
    Passing Yards: 305
    AVG: 8.7 yards
    TDs: 2
    INT: 0

SF Austin - L 52-38
  • Passing Completions/Attempts: 21/41
    Passing Yards: 308
    AVG: 7.5 yards
    TDs: 2
    INT: 4

Here's how I think the Cats will fare next season:

8/30 at Arkansas State - L
9/6 Black Hills State - W
9/13 Central Arkansas - L (Give edge to UCA due to senior quarterback - #5-ranked passing team in 2013)
9/20 Eastern Washington - L
9/27 North Dakota - W
10/4 at Sacramento State - W
10/11 at UC Davis - W
10/18 Weber State - W
10/25 Open
11/1 at Cal Poly - L
11/8 Portland State - W
11/15 Idaho State - W
11/22 at Montana - L
I think you're all over this ... If Roderick plays "Q" they will suck donkey at wide out...unable to stretch the field and rendered helpless as one dimensional... :egriz:

I'd say that when it comes to bragging about a game that a team "almost won", the scats take the prize. Don't you guys actually claim a NC from a tie game? :?

Very true. If the Cats claim to have won a game in 1984, and the game never occurred, what is the truth when the Cats claim a tie?

 It would seem that when discussing the history of bobcat football, the only safe conclusion (to the outsider) is that there are no winners. They are the "chinese fingertrap" of college football.

I'm only about 300 miles from Spearfish and have been through there many, many times and never knew there was a Black Hills State University. A short bus ride for them and a good paycheck. And not the risk for MSU associated with a Chadron St.

There's a good chance MSU goes 1-3 to start the season but with their easy conference schedule, they might be undefeated in conference play when they come into WaGriz.

I doubt they lose to North Dakota...in fact, it will be interesting to see if UND gets ANY BSC wins next year with the mess of a program they have now. Maybe the new coaching staff can turn it around w/o Hardin and Galloway.

It just got REAL up in here!

A good Bobcat team will finish this schedule 7-5. If they don't fill some key holes, 5-7 is a definite possibility. I think we can discount the possibility of an excellent Bobcat team.
