:o :o Big week for some team who will it be? The only clue that I have will only make it tougher. Coach with a long name (KrystkwiaK) said on radio that outside shooter for PSU maybe has a broken foot. Right now it is MSU 5-0 PSU 4-2 EW 3-2 UM 3-2 :o :o

I think the Griz and Cats both win two. League is weak.

PSU coach Schroyer (sp?) was on the radio today in Bozeman...their starting SG Schroeder is out with a broken foot this weekend. Should be interesting games! How about this, I'll predict all four teams go 1-1. UM & MSU both win on Thursday, lose on Saturday.

:o :o Thats a good prediction and You have a 50% chance of being right. :o :o

I'll go along with this prediction.

I predict EWU to sweep, and PSU to be swept.

:o :o This may have a chance to be a the correct answer. Very creative. If only because EWU needs to sweep. But if MSU loses thur how do they win Sat which is tougher because early consensus and theory is road trips tougher Sat. :o :o

:o :o Grizbeer has the same chance of being correct as MSUO1. 50-50 This solution to the problem would only be acceptable to MSU therefore maybe it should have odds of 25-75 but it does not. :o :o

Don't I have a 1-in-16 chance? 16 possible combinations of outcomes for the four games. I did predict which games would be won/lost by each team!

:o :o No 50% Chance until 10:00 PM Mtn. today Jan 27 :o :o

I think the road will catch up with MSU this weekend. They've suprised enough teams now that EWU and PSU will be prepared for them. Also, when you've got that many new faces, nobody knows what to expect. But when you're undefeated in conference, you've got a target on your back.

UM plays well at Eastern. They really lit that place up last year. I think UM has a good chance to sweep, but I'm worried they might have a let down for one of the games.

So if I have to predict:

PSU 2-0 (playing at home with lots of talent)
UM 1-1
EWU 1-1
MSU 0-2

I think that's a pretty realistic way to pick. I'd like to see MSU get PSU, but they'll only have 1 day to prepare for them and that's a tough road trip.

MSU plays PSU saturday evening right? I count two days for MSU to prepare for PSU. All day Friday, and pretty much the whole day on saturday.

I guess I don't really count Saturday. I know Krysko thinks of the Saturday game as a 1-day preparation. I was just using his lingo.

MTN 5:30 sports interviewed Matt Dlouhy relative to the EWU/PSU games this week. Dlouhy stated if Griz win two they are close to top of standings, if they split they are in the middle and if they loose both games they will be near the bottom of standings.

MTN also mentioned the Cats starting center has been having some back problems and EWU is back to full strength.

Next two games for Griz are hard for me top get a feel for becuase this is the first meetings this season. I do like the fact that we have HOME GAMES on the schedule with EWU/PSU/WSU & ISU. Obviously a sweep thsi week would be HUGE for the Griz home games of 02/24 & 02/26.

Only 9 games out of 27 remain to be played until TOURNEY TIME.

That would be Matt Towsley, and he's been having problems for the past two years. He has probably seen a total of about 30 minutes of action all year, and I don't think he's played in a conference game yet.

I do count saturday. I do not think they would do anything physical, but I would think they would do a bit of mental preparation for the game.

:o :o He played against Montane- Beye picked up 2 quick fouls. I was watching for him because it was reported that he played well against Montana last season. Neutral impact but filled the gap until Beye returned to pick up two more fouls. Seyfert was having good game but Griz died at the line. Beye returned to finish. :o :o

With two quick road games against some of the "better" teams in the 'Sky I think the Cats could go 1 - 1 or 0 - 2. If they go 2-0 you might as well book the conf tourney in Bozo, b/c they should be able to hold onto the conference then. These next two games will prove if the Cats are as good as their conference record.

I like the UM chemistry. I think they win against PSU but will lose @ EWU. IF they can go 2 - 0 and the Cats go 0-2 or 1-1 the conference race could get real interesting!!

:o :o You may have this figured out but cats history is that they lose more games the 2nd time they play teams in the conference. It would appear that any cat wins would end it for others but history is not on the cats side. I would assume their 4 JC transfers do not know they have been known to struggle in the stretch. Big Sky tournament games are on Tue and Wed so I will test the cats the rest of this week and next before I reserve any rooms. :o :o
