Reading Greg Rachac's write-up of the Bobcats' win in the Billings Gazette, he finishes his article: "MSU has now won 10 consecutive home openers."
Well, I wondered, who have they beaten in those ten games, and what was the last team they lost to? Worth a chuckle.

In comparison, Montana has 13 consecutive home opener victories, with notable wins against North Dakota State, Appalachian State, South Dakota, Cal Poly, Southern Utah (twice), South Dakota State, and Maine.
We've won 15 of the last 16, with only the 24-25 home debut loss by Bobby Hauck to North Dakota State in 2003 when they were DII, and 15 of the last 17 with the 9-10 debut loss by Joe Glenn to Hofstra in 2000.
