Costello, though, was not Cruzado’s initial choice for the position. On May 2, Cruzado stood at the same podium inside MSU’s Strand Union Building and appointed Kyle Brennan, the No. 2 man in charge at Utah, as AD.

The 41-year-old Brennan, with his wife and three sons by his side, told the crowd, “There is no place in the nation we would rather be than Montana State University.”

But that statement proved disingenuous. A week after his introduction, Brennan backed out of the job, publicly citing his concern for finding affordable housing and moving his sons into new schools.

Coming to MSU, Brennan said, “didn’t feel right.”

Your new job wouldn't "feel right" if you got a raise worth 3x your old salary at your old job too. Utah ante'd up.
 
Brennan realized what a shit show cat athletics is and caught the first flight back to Utah (after sitting on the tarmac for 9 hours due to mechanical issues with the plane). To her credit, Little Waded considers having the shortest tenured AD in the history of Division 1 to be a feather in her comb-over.
 
The mods would love to ban Bjorn, but he has threatened a lawsuit. His attorney, PosterRep, has made that clear.

I do represent Mr. Bjornstein. I can neither confirm nor deny the existence of a "threatened lawsuit." Bjorn has many grievances; many of them good, some are even great grievances. I stand ready to defend Mr. Bjornstein against those who have slandered his good, even great name and sullied his good, very good, almost perfect reputation. I won't hesitate to call out posters who make dumb or very dumb comments about Mr. Bjornstein's dumbness. You've been warned!

Posterrep is a hustler. Dude probably knows how to turn a buck. You have to respect that. I think his location should read "redacted" on his profile, but other than that, he's got the bases covered.

Totally. Just completely ruined. It's to the point where someone wouldn't even be able to post in the thread because it's so ruined. It's like, "C'mon, bro, stop ruining threads or else I will have to comment on your thread ruining, and I really love that, but now, I can't even comment on what I was about to comment on, and that bugs me more than anything even though all I do is complain about thread ruining." This thread started out with such good info. It's a damned shame to see it get ruined so.
